The Lord of Death hits the bottle hard on the Ragnarok of all benders, and all hell breaks loose, literally. Enter the unholy children of Gunnheim: gun-toting, skull-crushing Viking warriors born and bred for battle, summoned to restore the balance.

Gather your friends and choose your portal spiciness and fight through the Forest of Hayr, Turkuld, Masons Grief and the Grizzly Caves to a final reckoning with Odin himself!

Gunnheim 2.0: Remastered edition

Gunnheim has been rebuilt from the ground up in a modern engine. It's the same world, same portals and the same hellish horde, but bigger, better and enhanced mayhem! It's a free update for everyone who owns Gunnheim!

Rebuilt combat

• Fast, responsive shooting with improved mouse and keyboard controls and overall modernization all around

• Improved Rage, Dash and Warcry

Guns and boons

• New boons system where your beloved Wolfsmiter weapon gets improvements through the portal levels as you progress as well as buffs for your teamwork!

• Weapon drops now have tiers. Common, Rare, Epic for Shotguns, Railguns, Mortars, bouncing saw blades and more!

• All new effects for weapons

Levels

• Levels now have fights that make you stay and fight, instead of just running through

• Bosses are reworked with new phases and tricks to surprise you

• Added difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard and Hardcore for those who like pain

Co-op

• Up to four players online through Steam, on a shared screen with local players, or both at once

• Drop in and out mid-run. Teammates who reconnect get their gear back!

• Revive downed friends, or keep shooting in a last stand

• Enemies scale with the size of your party, with friends comes increased mayhem!

Fully saved

• Four save slots per player, with a checkpoint at the start of every level. Host your saved run with anyone, any time

Remastered

• New lighting across all levels, plus remade effects, darker and grimmer moods and new audio mix

• Full gamepad and keyboard/mouse support with remappable controls

• The remastered Gunnheim 2.0 runs on Windows and Linux / SteamOS.

• If you'd like to play the old version for old times' sake, it's on the original branch: right-click Gunnheim, then go to Properties, then Betas.

Returning Vikings: your Steam achievements are kept, and all 11 can be earned in the remaster.
