Dave's optional AI features (chat, text tools such as translate and summarize, meeting notes and live caption translation) generate text while you use the app. You choose the AI: your own Claude account, your own OpenAI or Google Gemini API key, or a model that runs locally on your PC. Generated text is shown only to you. Some in-app and store page texts, and their translations, were created with the help of AI tools.
