What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“CyberSprawl: Survivors is about building something outrageous, finding gear worth fighting for, and getting it home for the next run. Early Access gives us a way to improve that loop with people who enjoy experimenting with builds.

We want player feedback on which weapons feel powerful, which rewards open up interesting choices, and when exploring farther feels worth the danger. That feedback will help us refine balance, progression, clarity, and performance as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 3–6 months. This is an estimate, not a fixed release date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to make the full version a more polished and better-balanced version of the build, loot, and extraction experience. Our priorities include making more builds rewarding to play, giving equipment a clearer role in your next run, and refining enemy pressure, encounter variety, progression, and the interface.

We also plan to explore additional gameplay content where it adds meaningful choices. The scope and order of these changes may evolve with testing and community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is a playable single-player cyberpunk bullet heaven with automatic attacks, selectable operators, weapon upgrades and evolutions, multiple stages, dynamic encounters, and equipment to discover. You can extract with weapons, armor, and accessories, equip your finds, buy permanent upgrades, and start another run.

Normal missions reach final extraction at ten minutes. You can return early to secure your haul, or keep fighting for more. If you die before extraction, that run's carried equipment is lost; equipment you have already secured stays yours.

The game is still in development. Balance, progression, the interface, and performance are areas we intend to keep improving, and players may encounter bugs or rough edges.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will not increase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather bug reports, balance feedback, and suggestions through Steam Discussions and the CyberSprawl Discord. Tell us about the build you tried, a reward that changed your next run, an encounter that felt unfair, or an explanation that left you confused. Screenshots and steps to reproduce bugs are especially useful.

We plan to use recurring reports and playtest feedback to help set priorities, then share changes through Steam announcements and patch notes. We cannot act on every suggestion, but we want players to understand what changed and why.”

““CyberSprawl: Survivors is the genre defining loot extraction survivors game”

About This Game

CyberSprawl: Survivors is a cyberpunk survivors game with loot extraction. In this single-player bullet heaven, build outrageous weapon combinations, overwhelm hordes, and choose: leave with your haul or risk it for more. Extract to keep new equipment, gear up, and give your next run a new direction.

SURVIVE THE HORDE. EXTRACT THE LOOT.

A strong build gets you to the reward. Getting out lets you keep it. Leave early with your haul, fight through to the mission lift, or stay for the Final Claim and chase another payout.

Fall before extraction and lose the new equipment carried on that run, plus part of that run's gold payout. Your secured stash, equipped gear and banked gold stay yours.

OUTBUILD THE HORDE

Start with a weapon and turn it into a crowd-clearing build. Stack upgrades, pair weapons with boosts, and unleash evolutions that change the way your attacks fill the field.

Your weapons attack automatically. You choose the upgrades and steer through the danger. Get close with claws, command a drone swarm, or send lightning through the crowd. Find a combat style that makes you want another run.

EXPLORE THE SPRAWL

Put that firepower to work. Fight toward equipment sites, trigger dynamic encounters and take a detour for a reward worth protecting. The route you choose gives the build a job.

Push farther for tougher fights and a chance at stronger gear. Then decide whether to keep exploring or head back with what you have.

FIND YOUR NEXT BUILD

Recover equipment cases, reveal your finds, and compare weapons, armor and accessories with different bonuses. Look for an item that fits your plan—or gives you a reason to try a new one.

Equip secured gear for a later attempt. Your in-run weapon levels start fresh; the equipment you brought home gives you something new to build around.

HUNT SOMETHING WORTH BUILDING AROUND

As relic hunts unlock, take on optional guardians for prizes with distinct effects. Afterimage Bracer echoes close attacks behind you. Scrap Brood adds a supporting drone swarm.

Choose a hunt, claim its relic and extract to secure it. Bring that effect into a later compatible build and see what it changes.

COME BACK WITH A NEW PLAN

Recruit more operators, install permanent upgrades and open new systems through chapter progression. Weapon evolutions, equipment, Doctrines and relic hunts add new decisions as you play.

Return with a useful find, a different loadout or a tougher goal. The next run starts with an idea. Optimized for Steam Deck.
