About This Game

Cricket Management Tycoon 2026

Cricket Management Tycoon 2026 is a management game about running a cricket team over a full season, then doing it again with the squad you have built.

You pick the XI. You sort out the contracts. If a young player is ready, you give him a game. If your best bowler is tired before a final, that is your problem too.

Domestic cricket, franchise T20 and international management are all in this one game. They are not separate editions.

Modes

  • Manager Career — Create a manager, choose a background as an ex-player, coach or outside hire, and build a reputation through results, selections and signings. Earn XP, unlock perks and improve at tactics, leadership, scouting, negotiation and squad building.
  • Domestic Career — Manage a domestic side in any cricket nation in the game, including county cricket in England (County Championship, One-Day Cup, T20 Blast) and state cricket in Australia (Sheffield Shield, One-Day Cup, Australian T20 Cup).
  • Global T20 Career — Take a franchise job and build a side for the shorter season, where squad balance and one or two overseas signings can change everything.
  • International Career — Manage a national team through its calendar, with selection pressure that does not stop between series.
  • Tournament and World Cup — Play the tournament formats separately when you want a shorter save.
  • Quick Match — Set up a match without starting a career.

Careers can run for as many seasons as you want.

Watch the match

Matches are simulated ball by ball and shown in an animated broadcast-style view. You see the wickets, boundaries, partnerships and changes in momentum rather than only watching a scorecard update.

There are replays for the big moments, and the presentation includes the sounds and celebrations around them.

Decisions during the match

You control batting intent, bowling plans, line and length, field settings, player roles and bowling rotations.

The conditions matter. A pitch can change, weather can interrupt, and dew can make a chase easier. A bowler's stamina, a batter's confidence and the state of the match all affect what happens next. Saving your best bowler for the end is a plan. So is using him early because the game is already slipping away.

Build the squad

Scout players from the major cricket nations and judge them on ability, form, potential, personality, experience and whether they fit the role you need.

Build through contract negotiations, free agents, releases and the youth academy. A cheap squad player who can cover three formats may be worth more to you than another star. A prospect is only useful if you find him the right games at the right time.

Players have form, confidence, morale, ambitions and expectations. A senior player may expect to lead. A young player may need a run in the side. Dropping an out-of-form star can help the team and still cause you a problem in the dressing room.

Away from match day

Rival managers are recruiting and changing tactics as well. Players improve, get injured, lose form, move clubs and retire.

You will deal with board expectations, press conferences, the CricSpeak social feed, sponsors, stadium upgrades and your own reputation. None of that decides a match by itself, but it decides how much room you have when results go wrong.
