About This Game

A 2D turn-based dungeon crawler puzzle game where you play as a dwarf.

The game contains no words. It is entirely symbolic, using icons and emojis to convey information and meaning.

Every move counts. The game is turn-based, but turns advance automatically if you wait too long — forcing quick thinking and smart decisions as you solve puzzles, navigate traps, and escape dangerous dungeons. The game has 3 types of maps to play.

The game is moddable. Most of what you see is driven by simple text-based configuration files. Creating new maps, objects, and behaviors is possible. A ready-to-use example mod (small map + new object with custom behavior) is already available on the Steam Workshop.

All of the puzzles in all mappacks are handmade by me. I have drawn all the graphics in Aseprite, and coded most of the code by hand over 8 years of development of this game. All of it, including custom engine and data files are outcome of sleepless nights spent trying to design an ultimate puzzle engine. That being said, in the last phase of development, I did use AI generation and tools to code efficiently and create audio part of the game.
