Survive the Wild: The First Howl is currently in Early Access. Development is ongoing, with additional gameplay systems, content, wildlife, quests, progression, and world features planned as the game continues to grow.

Survival revolves around four core needs:

Health — Survive injuries and dangerous encounters while searching the wilderness for resources that can help you recover.

Stamina — Running, exploring, and hunting require energy. Managing your stamina is essential when pursuing prey or escaping danger.

Hunger — Hunt animals and obtain food to keep your wolf fed.

Thirst — Search the wilderness for ways to stay hydrated as you travel farther from familiar territory.

Knowing when to hunt, explore, rest, or avoid confrontation can make the difference between survival and defeat.

HUNT AND EXPLORE

Travel through a stylized natural world filled with wildlife and places to discover.

Track prey, explore forests and mountains, cross waterways, and venture into increasingly dangerous territory as you experience life through the eyes of a wolf.

Different animals present different challenges, and not every encounter will end with your wolf as the hunter.

A WORLD STILL GROWING

Survive the Wild: The First Howl is being actively developed during Early Access.

Future updates currently in development are intended to expand the wilderness and deepen the survival experience with features such as:
