Why Early Access?

“We are releasing in Early Access to gather player feedback and iterate on core gameplay systems and measure end-game content expectations. As a roguelite game with randomly generated maps and resources, real player input is essential to balance progression, improve performance, and expand systems in the right direction. Early Access allows us to build the game alongside the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game will be in Early Access approximately for 3 months. Depending on the feedback received, adding extra potential features might increase the development time.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to have extra meta-progression, boss mechanics and skill cards. We plan to tidy up bugs found through reports, add localization and fix localization errors caused by semantics and format bugs that are caused by sentence lengths.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently almost all the the game can be played. Most of the main story (14/17 levels available), ability cards, skill-tree, weapons and all other sub-systems are implemented and given in the game.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Currently we do not plan to raise the price for the full release. But when the final state of the game builds up, we might reconsider this.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be listening to the community for shaping SCAD to its final state. Adding additional features and tweaking any point of the game is possible.

We have a Discord group. All our players are all welcome giving us feedback there and on Steam. We will be reading every info thrown at us by the players.”
