Why Early Access?

“Color Fear is still in development and while Acts 1 and 2 are complete and fully playable. Act 3 is currently being developed along side fixing bugs and adding more maps, Items, Intruders, events and sounds to make Color Fear as scary as possible!

Listening to Community feedback is also a big reason why we are choosing to release Color Fear in Early Access, so we can shape, fix and add improvements to the project that are needed and requested!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are targeting a full release around October 2027. Color Fear Act 3 is the last piece and its the biggest since there are player choices from act 2 that branch out creating 3-4 different story lines for Act 3. And those stories need to be fleshed out, filmed edited, bug tested and overall it needs to all feel solid, good and scary!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to release Color Fear with Act 3 complete with branching player choices feeling great and fresh to play, new intruders, new buildings, new items, new calamities, new sounds, scares and events! We also plan on releasing some of this new content as updates before the 1.0 release!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Acts 1 and 2 are complete and fully playable from start to finish, roughly 1-2 hours depending on your choices. There is also an Infinite horror game mode that will allow you to survive as long as you can until you die or end then it resets.

Color Fear early access will be rough around the edges but still solid. You may run into a bug every once and a while but nothing that will block or soft lock your games progress. We listen to all community feedback so if a bug is encountered and shared it will be fixed and added to a bug fix update asap!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“we plan to gradually raise the price of Color Fear as we ship new content and features and eventually exit early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a big part of why we chose Early Access! Listening to community feedback and needs from the Steam Community, Discussion boards, Videos and Discord are always our top priority! Also adding quality-of-life improvements or community requested fixes are always first on the list!”

Warning People have experienced the of feeling that they are still in Color Fear after playing. Today on The Color Fun Coloring Show they want viewers to help them find out who is breaking into their house. Each new intruder that breaks in has different abilities and will hunt you down! All the show wants to know is what color they show you!

  • Find out why Peach is making you play his twisted game each night. Delve into the mystery thriller of The Color Fun Coloring Show and why it came to be.

  • The Night Shop: Use the Night Shop at the end of each night to purchase upgrades or abilities to use against the color fun coloring show! 

  • Upgrades that can be purchased in the Night Shop:

  • A Toy Robot to help you find the location of the intruder

  • A Hitman to take out your least favored of the cast members

  • Upgrades for Flashlight and movement

  • Skip a Night Card

  • Designed for Fear. Intruders not only can come in at random times but can also hide and wait in the places where they know you will be going to. Each intruder has different abilities and ways they will scare you!

  • This is a Horror game unlike any other. Explore the deepest fears that come from The Color Fun Coloring Show.

  • Changing the channel will change the show and each show will affect your game and outcome in different and extreme ways, so make sure to pick your favorite show! Get the Remote from the Night Shop!

  • Each night, you'll play Peaches twisted game to survive. You must follow Peaches instructions inside the house, find a specific color, and show it to Peach on the TV. But during the night. There will be intruders in the house who will hunt you down Get the color right and you'll live, Get it wrong and you're out!

  • Intruders have different abilities from taking you to a basement every 30 seconds for 10 seconds to turning off any light in a room they are in to making you not move. 

  • Playthrough Time 2 to 4hrs

  • Multiple endings depending on what you do and how you respond to your environment.

  • Replay-ability each time you play it will feel scary, with a good amount of randomization to keep every playthrough and level as fresh and scary as possible from random room spawns, intruders, buildings, tv locations and level sequences.
