Hello Survivors!
Have a hotfix! Since it's Halloween and I want to go do fun Halloween things, here's the list of changes!

Hotfix 15a Changes:
- Framerate issues in a ton of places have been fixed! You should no longer be dropping to 3 FPS, and places that had okay FPS should be even better than before! You may have to give it a short while after you load in to fully get your framerate up as the world is still loading but it should be way better right from the get go!
- Motion blur is now disabled (quickest fix we had available.) We will bring it back later with a checkbox option to turn it off.
- TDL Anniversary Achievement should now properly unlock if you play between tonight (Oct. 31st) and November 9th.
- Grass no longer changes direction or twitches when you turn on the flashlight.
- Grass is now about 50% better on performance.
- Fixed an issue where windows would not show they were broken from a distnace.
- Fixed an issue where textures and GUI elements (images) would be pixelated.
- Added Nav Mesh to parking lots so Leland's and Office buildings should have less issues with zombies halfway in the floor. Still may be some issues here, please report them!
- Fixed an issue where Zombie Bob (fat zombie) would disappear (LOD cull) at a very close distance.

Boom. There's your first hotfix. We have a few more planned. Stay tuned!

The Memory of Eldurim - RaBiD
The Story Begins - The updates continue.



It's only been a little over a week since we debuted our massive gameplay and graphical overhaul and our next large update is already here. We want to continue our weekly update cycle.

This update introduces our story line and the (re)introduction of the first of many brutal boss fights. It's bound to be a good time.

Changelog:

-Added the first quest of the main storyline in
-Added the deathblood boss
-Revamped the entire crypt area
-Fixed bugs related to the bed
-Added a new player starting area related to the quest
-Updated NPC dialog
-Added AI optimizations for better performance
-Added in multiple death spells that will be available to the player in future updates
-Added a basic map of the first area

We really wanted to get the main quest line going. Next we are probably going to focus on additional skill, health, and stamina balancing and getting weapon/armor affixes (lifesteal, crit chance, etc.) back into the game. As always this and all subsequent updates will be free for as long as we develop the game.

Hello,

Just want to let you know this is not a $50 copy of Call of Duty made by a corporate dev team. This is a FPS shooter made by 1 guy for the price of a movie ticket. If you want to be toxic, rude, threaten my life, or any of the other fun things currently happening (which only people on the internet say) your post will be removed and you will be banned. If you don't care for the game that is totally fine leave a review or even better submit a bug report so i can fix it and make your experience better, if you just want to be rude don't expect anything other than a quick ban.

The absolute awful behavior towards not only this title but lots of other 1-3 man projects released on steam is truely revolting. Do i truely deserve death threats for the game i created? It's absolutely amazing, and alot of other developers feel the exact same but refrain from saying anything concrete to avoid a loss of sales. Does it matter though? Anyone can leave an unfair review stating the game is unplayable even though it is completely playable, and there is nothing that can be done from a developers point of view. We get to enjoy death threats, lies, and actual internet stalkers who check in daily just to be assholes, for making you a game to have some fun with.

That's about all i have, enjoy the game i will be checking the bug reports and apply hotfixes to anything that might be wrong. If you aren't one of the toxic crowd this isn't meant for you and i hope you have a great day.

Dark Horizons: Mechanized Corps - maxgamingtech
The next update is right around the corner, which will be followed by 2 more updates before the winter holiday.

We have been working on various parts of the game including:

New and updated missions
Weapons and mech balancing
new weapons
mech movement and cockpits
and Faction Wars….

Coming in version 0.0.6.6

In the upcoming patch version 0.0.6.6 we have working on improving performance so we can update visual distance in the game, reducing the amount of fog.

Why is this a big deal you may ask? We have added 2 new zoom levels for use with long range weapons, like the ARCs, LARBS and the NEW! sniper cannon which will be released in 0.0.6.6 .

Also coming in the next build is a new mission “Crashsite”, updates to the mech balancing, additional feedback when being attack, and many bug fixes.

And then?

Coming shortly after is something we are all excited about, and for this we will just let the picture speak for itself.

First person cockpits have been a long time coming , and the first iteration to make it back into the game is coming later in November. With this we will also support server settings to force cockpit only.

And last but not least we are hard at work on Faction Wars, with elements coming out over the next couple updates with the start of the persistent system coming soon..
