<a href="http://cpri.me/SpliceOnIpad"><i>Splice : Tree of Life</i></a> has been a big success for us since its release for the iPad on the eve of PAX. Who knew touch would have made such a difference! <a href="http://kotaku.com/5940258/elegant-puzzle-games-should-be-on-oprahs-non+existent-list-of-video-game-favorite-things">Kotaku</a> named it Gaming App of the Day in the first week of release, and <a href="http://toucharcade.com/2012/09/07/splice-tree-of-life-ipad-review/">TouchArcade</a> gave the game a review score of 4.5 out of 5 stars, stating that “few apps offer the elegance that is <a href="http://cpri.me/SpliceOnIpad"><i>Splice : Tree of Life</i></a>.”

We’re totally stoked about this year’s <a href="http://indiecade.com/">International Festival of Independent Games</a>, where <a href="http://playsplice.com"><i>Splice</i></a> is nominated for the <a href="http://www.indiecade.com/2012/nominees/">2012 IndieCade Awards</a>! The gents over at <a href="http://www.freeplay.net.au/">Freeplay</a> have selected <a href="http://playsplice.com/"><i>Splice</i></a> as a finalist in Australia’s <a href="http://www.freeplay.net.au/2012/09/freeplay-awards-2012-finalists/">Freeplay Awards</a> as Best International Game of the year! The 2012 Freeplay Awards will be presented as part of the Freeplay Independent Games Festival on September 23 at the Order of Melbourne. Take screenshots using the Steam client and add them to your Steam profile’s library of screenshots. To submit your entry, post a link of the full-size screenshot image to the <a href="http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2788470">Splice Screenshot Challenge</a> forum thread. If you can wow the pants off us, we’ll offer you up a free Steam key to one of <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/search/?developer=Cipher%20Prime%20Studios">Cipher Prime’s games</a> of your choosing. Exceptional screenshots will be credited with your name and made available for download as desktop backgrounds through this group page (see the Game Art section below).
