The update will release in April, and you can look forward to playing with the following new settings once it launches:

New Gamemodes:

- RTDM

- Instagib

New Settings:

- Maximum buyable items per row 0-6

- Maximum buyable items total 0-24

- Option to start with both skills already unlocked

- Walking speed multiplier

- Health multiplier for droids, nauts & turrets

- Fixed health setting for droids, nauts & turrets

- Healing multiplier

- Damage multiplier

- Disable walking backward option (nauts can only walk forward)

- Replace normal droids with superdroids

- Explode on death

- Spawn solarboss on death

- Gravity multiplier

- Slipperiness multiplier

- Make every damage deal knockback, based on the amount of damage

- Automatically go into stealth after x amount seconds

The long-awaited Starstorm map is coming this April! We've been showing off bits and pieces during our daily Development Livestreams quite a lot lately, and have been making good progress on it!

The new map will release in Awesomenauts 3.1: Starstorm Showdown next month. The Beta for this update will be publicly available a few weeks ahead of release, and we'll have more news on that shortly.

Following the release of Awesomenauts 3.1, we'll turn our attention to readying the new matchmaking system for release. The new matchmaking system will come to Awesomenauts in Update 3.2, set for release some time after Starstorm Showdown. We currently can't make any promises on a target date for this, but its coming soon!

Ix the Interloper, the character that won the Design Your Naut Contest #2 will join the Awesomenauts in Update 3.3. We don't have a release date to announce for that either, but if you're interested in seeing how he's coming along you might want to tune in to our Daily Development Streams, as we're showing off our progress on Ix quite regularly there!
