And even if you didn’t take part in the first two qualifying rounds, there’s still time to make it into the tournament! You can already sign up for the next qualifiers which start on January 6 2018.

The launch of Tannenberg has gone very well and we’re pleased to see a lot of people enjoying the game. So which of the improvements from Tannenberg will we also see coming to Verdun? As we’re working with the same engine, performance upgrades are on the way as well as new weapon and ambient sounds, an improved user interface and an in-game switch between the Western and Eastern Fronts for those playing both games. Not all of these features have seen the light of day in Tannenberg yet, so don’t expect them in Verdun right away. First we want to make sure it’s all running smoothly before integrating it into Verdun. We’ll keep you posted!

You can get Tannenberg for $17.99, with a 20% loyalty discount for those owning Verdun until December 1 2017. It's content complete, and we're going to use the open beta period for improving the balance, sounds and performance, plus implementing a new user interface.

Verdun will not be left behind, and the game will benefit from the visual and performance improvements in Tannenberg. Updates are planned for the game in these upcoming months including an easy in-game way to switch between the two fronts.

We have an in-game remembrance event tomorrow - if you spend two minutes in reflection as the poppy turns red, you will unlock a medal. Verdun is also on sale in the War Child UK’s - Armistice bundle. 50% of the net revenue from this sale will be gifted to the charity for children affected by conflict.



It won’t be long until Tannenberg is available for purchase! The closed beta has been going well and we’re eagerly looking forward to getting more feedback. As you may have noticed a small update went live this week (see changelog). We’ve adjusted the spectator menu, added a small grace time window (of 25ms) where tradekills are allowed and fixed some cases of ‘shots not registering’.

With the Early Access release drawing nearer we are still hard work testing the current builds, for which we still need more help. We have already been getting a lot of new testers on board. Recently another group of 1,400 soldiers has been released into Tannenberg so we are picking up speed. But we have more room so if you haven’t already, you can join Tannenberg Alpha Testing using the link below. We do ask you to have at least 20 hours of Verdun playtime. We need experienced soldiers!
