Why Early Access?

“As an ambitious ARPG roguelite, we decided to bring Echoes of Mystralia to Early Access because we believe the final stage of development is best shaped alongside the community. While the core experience and main adventure will be fully playable at launch, Early Access gives us the opportunity to continue developing the game ahead of full release.

Throughout Early Access, we'll release gameplay-focused updates that add new content, improve existing systems, complete the end-game experience, and deliver the final narrative act. Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to keep this Early Access period relatively short and community-focused, allowing us to finish and polish the game ahead of full release. We aim to deliver the final version within a year. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the 1.0 version we plan to include more content, new spells, puzzles, relics, boss fights, and more. It’ll also introduce new story lines, dialogue options, the final narrative act, as well as a whole new region and new challenges to test for your abilities. Many other improvements, quality of life features and cosmetic options are also planned to enhance your experience!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have and will continue to engage with our community to gather player feedback, watch streams, and monitor discussions across our Discord server, Steam reviews & forums, as well as social media platforms. We may also host playtests to gather additional feedback and evaluate gameplay changes, features, and new content before they are released in major updates.
