Miksi Early Access?

It’s been three years since we started this project.
We are satisfied with the gameplay and the content we’ve produced, and it will take some extra time to finish the game. The team would prefer to have the players help with the future development to meet the full potential.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

It might be six months to a year, or even longer. We will strive to fulfill the game’s full potential before cease the development.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The team will be adding various of new content, which includes:

More levels, and more interactions with with the environment.
More weapons and new mechanics.
More enhancing items for the character and his interactive power.
More passive skills, and more combinations of the weapons and items.
More enemies and more challenging bosses.
More interesting traps and puzzles.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version includes:

Seven types of weapons: Blade, Great Sword, Hammer, Boxing Gloves, Boots and two types of Firearms. There are dozens of specific weapon in the weaponry.
Each weapon has it’s unique mechanic and ability. The variety of weapon combos create many ways to beating the game.
More than twenty different uses of items, can either enhance the character, or help with the exploration.
Hundreds of passive abilities provide tons of tactics.
Four entirely different worlds await, with many detailed interactions hidden inside.
Lots of challenging bosses and enemies.

Ancient Abyss is a 2D Zelda-like action game where you will explore mysterious and hidden events in a randomly generated maze. As you progress, you’ll gain more power and collect items to help you reach further into the maze. As you walk through the layers of the maze and reach the bottom of the abyss, you’ll discover mysterious and dark forces, tucked away, so no one would find them...

Ancient Abyss features the thrilling battle and perma-death mechanics of the Roguelike genre, as well as the exploration and discovery of 2D Zelda games.

Features:

• RogueZelda: An action game that combines RogueLike and 2D Zelda elements, allowing players to experience exploration and discovery in a randomly generated maze. The game combines the depth of a RogueLike game with a thrilling perma-death experience.

• Explore: The game is full of unreachable and hidden areas, but players have the opportunity to master new skills and acquire new items at any time in the game. These new abilities will help players explore further to discover treasures and secrets hidden within the maze.

• Stimulating Combat: A wide selection of melee and ranged weaponry allow for multiple styles of play and create a unique combat experience.

• 2D world with dynamic lighting: Beautiful pixel art, intuitive and smooth animation and excellent dynamic lighting effects create a wonderful visual experience.
