Varför Early Access?

“We're a firm believer that working in cooperation with the community would be the best option to improve our game to bring out its full potential. We understand that our game is currently not complete to serve our audience but our development team is fully prepared to take in all the feedback necessary from the community to ensure that the game was really created for the community. We felt that Early Access would help us ensure we ship the best experience to our community.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We are planning to leave the game in one year(it could be around Q3 or Q4 2019) from Early Access. During this time, we want to make sure to have enough data to improve our development stage and continue to get feedbacks from our community. We will try our best efforts to make acceptable standard for our game both by us and our community.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“Our Early Access phase is to allow more of our audience to participate in playing our game and letting us know how we can further improve the quality.
Throughout the Early Access we will be continually adding heros, units, maps, setting changes, and much more based from our community feedback. Until we're convinced that our game at its current state satisfies not only us but our community's approval, will we phase out of Early Access and officially release the game.

We will add more contents when we launch full version as below.
* Additional game feature including characters(both Hero and Unit), 6 more maps.
* New systems such as Hero Weapon, Season Ranking and Clan.
* Also, Many additions and improvements to be added”

“Currently, CHECKMATE : Battle Arenas is already developed the core contents and fully playable for the battle, and we focus on making the core experience for users as stable as possible.

* Real Time PvP Battle with other players
* Shop contents are created
* Daily Missions and Ranking System”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“CHECKMATE: Battle Arenas is basically free-to-play in Early Access, and will remain free-to-play after launch. However, In-game shop item price(items in shop) could be changed when we have full release. If there is any price change for the in-game item, we will announce the players first.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Our developers are very involved with our community. We are fully embracing Steam’s community tools and plan to be most active in the Steam discussion forums and news feed. We also read comments and engage with players on social media, conduct surveys, and watch streamers. And our community team collects formal feedback from players which is discussed in planning meetings every week. We will catch what's the player's priority and the development team will try to improve the game as players' needs.”
