Until we're convinced that our game at its current state satisfies not only us but our community's approval, will we phase out of Early Access and officially release the game.

“CHECKMATE: Battle Arenas is basically free-to-play in Early Access, and will remain free-to-play after launch. However, In-game shop item price(items in shop) could be changed when we have full release. If there is any price change for the in-game item, we will announce the players first.”

“Our developers are very involved with our community. We are fully embracing Steam’s community tools and plan to be most active in the Steam discussion forums and news feed. We also read comments and engage with players on social media, conduct surveys, and watch streamers. We will catch what's the player's priority and the development team will try to improve the game as players' needs.”
