Miksi Early Access?

Our game is based on building thriving and sustainable communities, and we want the development of our game to embody that same spirit. Early Access means we will be able to interact with our community as our game is being made, and to make sure players have an opportunity for their voices to be heard through community feedback.

This being our first fully featured title as Team Applesauce, we don't have any concrete details on how fast we can get this game to a 1.0 release, but our initial estimates are about 2-3 years.

We plan to provide all of the elements that create a complete experience for the player. Since this game is intended to be more open-ended, and not particularly linear, this means that we aim to have a base amount of characters, events, and activities that clear our bar of value and quality amongst the team.

The current state of the Early Access version mainly is focused on making sure gameplay is fun, satisfying, and solid. The playable demo will aim to deliver a taste of our initial vision for the game.

Yes. We will make decisions throughout the development process to make sure that the game is fairly priced as we put more content into it. We will communicate ahead of time if we find that an upcoming update provides enough new content to justify bringing up the price until we reach full release.

We want connect with our community and have their voices be an active participant in the development process. Discussions will primarily be held in our community Discord server, as well as through the Steam Community Hub, but other forms of social media will also be a way for us to better connect with our players.
