What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have chosen to go down the Early Access road to make sure our game is as amazing as we invasion it to be, we have focused over the last 7 months on getting the most basic core features down which amounts to a back end system and a basic quiz functionality.

With that done we started thinking about other modes and ideas for our game and talking to fans and community and noted that if we want our game to be anything like we envisioned we need you, your thoughts, your ideas and most importantly we need this game to be a part of all of us not just what we want.

So we hope that with early access you can help us make the game more than a yes,no box and have interesting modes, fun maps, cool art assets and so much more.

Our game is no where near ready to be called a Released game but our team is small and only so many ideas can come from that so our hope is that Early Access will let us get our community, our players, our friends to help us shape this game into something truly remarkable and then when we do release it, it can be a game that not only we are proud of but you as someone who impacted its development can be proud of.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are aiming for a release some time at the start of 2019.

At present the game has some of the core game play aspects functional but they still need a little work, after we get the core quiz system down we will still have some work to do before release we will need to work with our community to make sure our game fits our theme and retro vibe we are going for along with helping us make the game something more than just a quiz platform.

We want to make our game more than just a quiz platform, we want 3D environments, mini-games and so much more, but we need the help of our community to realise this dream both with ideas and functional testing.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During the Early Access version of our game, we will allow being allowing access to basic quiz mode and limited maps around 2 or 3, when we fully release the game we hope to have 3 or more quiz modes, along with many maps and potentially community downloadable maps.

We also want to work on more features after release, with the core game having been made, we want to work on "Home Hubs" which will allow a player to create a little environment they design themselves importing and using assets from the game maps.

We also want to work Voice overs for questions using famous youtubers, like our brand partner BulletBarry.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At this point in our lives we have only done 3 builds that we would consider playable with countless bugs but with each build we reduce those bugs and refine the core features that we do have, so you may be asking what exactly are those features.

1 - Interactive 3D environment: We wanted more than just a mobile port to Steam of a quiz game, so we have used our budget to invest in some amazing retro feeling maps and have adding physic objects to those, we plan to add so much more to these as the coming weeks and months pass.

2 - Quiz functionality: Well this is a kinda duh one but we have been working on the quiz system at present it is REALLY basic, knowing only when a user got a question right and which user that was.
but that is not where our functionality for the quiz lies, we have worked VERY hard on a back end system to make the quiz creation left up to the creator. So we had to do a lot of designing of our database schema and working out how to setup relational system in the best way to give a quick seamless experience for the player

3 - Pack Maker: We have done A LOT of work on a pack designer, at this current stage though the designer is separate from the game and hosted on a 3rd party website this is VERY temporary and is only done because we are using web technology to make it and at present the only viable plugin we can find to use web based menus in unreal costs more than our budget allows, so we hope that early access sales and many beg borrow and steal sessions of family and friends will raise the amount we need, if not I have a really good kidney :)

The creator will allow you to sign in with your Steam account so there will be no need for a 3rd party sign in, we only store your Steam64ID to link your profile to our DB as a reference point to make sure no one can steal, update or delete other users packs.

As the weeks move forward each of these features will be refined and worked to make them as perfect as we can, when we are done or atleast at a state where bugs are so rare we can move on to working on other features as well we will start to add more to the game, we have many things planned thanks to our discord server who keep bombarding us with amazing ideas.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We would like to raise the price to match the games value after full release, but this does not mean you will be charged a months rent, we would love to keep the price as low as possible to increase our player count, we have even considered after release lowering the price should we be able to recover all development costs or at least enough to not be in debt.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community is a core part of the development of our game, the game is designed for you the player to make it yours so we want you to help make the game, help us via our discord and regular videos update to make assets, improve settings and make the game show its full potential

if you are interested in helping us out and having some input into the game you can join our discord here or visit our website which along side our store release will get an over haul to include a feed back and suggestions section”
