“We are a small indie studio formed from professional game developers that decided to get together and make a game we believe players will enjoy. The game is designed to solve issues that current survival games have and were not addressed until this day. To ensure we can deliver the original idea of the game, we run with a private budget to make sure only player community has an impact on the direction of development. The game was available for free, 6 months in pre-alpha state where we did our best to prepare the game for a good start of Early Access. We hope all the work and improvements on the game done till this point will prove we are serious about Volcanoids game and want to finish it till the Full version.”

Per quanto tempo questo gioco rimarrà in accesso anticipato?

“2 years was the initial plan, but based on the amount of feedback and new ideas we got from the community, it's most likely going to take longer. The community can track the progress on our roadmap that we've been following since the development started.”

Quali saranno le differenze fra la versione completa e quella in accesso anticipato?

“The current Early Access version is singleplayer and co-op multiplayer, with enemies and a short storyline. In the full version, the map will be improved, the storyline will have a deeper plot, and more enemy types and bosses will be added. We also want to add more ways to customize your drillship and character.”

Qual è lo stato attuale della versione in accesso anticipato?

“The game has singleplayer and co-op multiplayer with a story and questline that the player follows to achieve the final goal, silencing the volcano. In order to do that, the player has to upgrade the drillship, fight enemies, and progress through the map until reaching the Volcano's core.”

Il prezzo del gioco varierà durante e dopo l'accesso anticipato?

“Current price is going to stay throughout Early Access but we plan to increase it once the full version comes out.”

Come pensi di coinvolgere la Comunità durante il processo di sviluppo?

“The community has been involved in the development from the first release of free Pre-Alpha. Based on players suggestions and feedback, we adjusted Drillship systems and GUI. After that, tutorial quests were implemented to ensure anybody can easily play the game without watching videos. The main communication is Volcanoids Discord server, where everyone can share their opinion, suggestion or ask anything about the game. The community also gets constant updates about the development in the form of videos, pictures and new releases. Everything is available on Volcanoids social media as well.”
