“诚然，作为一款复古风的RPG游戏，《八方旅人》在其艺术风格、战斗系统以及背景音乐等方面都有着过人之处，但是盲目地沉浸在这款游戏带来的良好反馈中，只会让作品中的缺点被无限放大。相对过高的价格会严重影响购买者对这款游戏的心理预期，而《八方旅人》偏偏在最易被评判的剧情方面稍有欠缺。对于玩家而言，尽管游戏的战斗系统相较于同类作品来说更加丰富，但回合制战斗的“乐趣”是存在一定上限的。”
