Why Early Access?

“Dream Enders is currently in an unfinished state. It will be continually and regularly worked on with content added until the product is in a finished state.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until approximately 2020, or until the primary story content is complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Among the content planned for the complete release of Dream Enders, there will be finished shopkeepers, additional towns and dungeons, many more side characters, more options, more encounters with each of the main characters, a basic economy, and thousands more lines of dialogue to dozens more cut scenes and conversations, including date scenes for each of the main characters (villain included).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable up to and including the Goblin Tower, immediately outside of the first city. Shopkeeper dialogue and additional interactions are not yet available at this time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will not remain free once it has released in a finished state.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Any feedback ranging from story to coding will be taken into consideration during further development. Additionally, options for input into the characters and events, paths for characters to take, and helping to determine future events are all on the table. Anyone who enjoys the story of Dream Enders is invited to help shape the version of your story as you like.”

Dream Enders RPG is an interactive story focused on player freedom, dialogue options, and branching pathways, all within a top-down R.P.G. format.

Dream Enders RPG is being created as a spiritual sequel to 'Cora and the Dreamer' available as an eBook on the Amazon Bookstore.

Dream Enders RPG takes place in the world of an M.M.O.R.P.G., in which the player characters have been trapped by the evil Witch Queen. You appear in the midst of their plight, choosing to help or hinder those you meet as you see fit.

Controls: WASD to move, Numpad 0 to interact, Numpad . to advance text - OR - Arrow keys to move, Z to interact, X to advance text. F4 enables full screen. A resolution of at least 1280 x 720 is required.

Dream Enders RPG currently has no music.

Dream Enders RPG is being created in Game Maker: Studio 2 as a long-term exercise in coding. All feedback is appreciated.
