Ashes is a first person narrative with melee combat, puzzles and light platforming. It is a mix between games like skyrim and a walking simulator, a short experience to be enjoyed in one sitting where you can explore a dungeon and be immersed in the character's story and the adventure.

Bug fixes, minor visual improvements and speed runs

Some achievements where bugged and thanks to a very kind user NighT WolF we tracked them all and now they are fixed.

You can now get all those sweet achievements

We also resized some particles that were a bit "too much".

In other news, "Ashes" is now on speedrun.com (https://www.speedrun.com/ashes), the current record is at 17m 29s which is quite good for a game with 1 hour of gameplay, so if you want to challenge the record now is your chance.

See you all in the dungeon :)

About This Game

Ashes is first person adventure with a heavy focus on narrative and atmosphere.

We mixed a few game genres to try to achieve something new.
The game draws from walking simulators, first person medieval adventures and horror games. It's not exactly a horror game nor it is an adventure rpg, it is something in the middle to be enjoyed in one sitting, like a short interactive bed time story for casual players.

You play as a man that wakes up with memory loss in a dungeon, as you progress through the dungeon you get your memories back unraveling the mystery behind your situation.

With puzzles, first person combat, weapon management, platforming and story telling, we hope to give a new kind of adventure to the everyday gamer.
