What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The reason early access was chosen was to build hype for the story that is being crafted. Something for players to see is an actual world and can get a feel for how things will be once the full game is released.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to have this game fully done by the end of the year. There have already been a few bumps but, things are still on track for a full release this winter.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final game will have a complete story and world with secrets and loot and some other secret planned features. There will be full voice acting, better graphics, a massive overhaul of the overworld and UI, an immersive battle system, and tons of little things that really bring this game to its full potential of realism.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment you can explore and find secrets around our world, talk to NPCs, play a minigame, and follow some quests.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we put out new content and features. These price growths won't happen until big chunks of features or gameplay are added about every few months.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We love hearing gamers feedback about our fully immersive world we can develop an RPG Maker game with so much more depth and surprises that people don't give this game type. We want to blow people away, and hearing from the early adopters is the best way to do that. Our discord page is the best way to get ahold of us about any feedback and we already and plan to continue posting updates on there about every update and some big questions we have for our fans. Beta Test

I know this game is early access, but there have been bugs that go on to the full updates because we cannot test or catch every issue. If you would like to help us stomp out these bugs, I ask you to join our beta branch of the game.
These updates go out more frequently than our big chunk content updates but are filled with more quite a few more bugs.

All feedback is greatly appreciated even if its not from our beta branch adopters.

If you would like to join this branch, comment on this post and we will get with you and get you added to this list. Also whomever helps with this will get their name in a special section of credits of the game.

Thanks again for all of your support! We are hard at work on adding more content and for a smaller update to patch of some things from the Easter release.

Easter Update!

Hi everyone! We've just made an update to Lost Legend. A few things have changed:

  • Kastburg is closer to completion. This city is proving to be very difficult for us to finish. For some reason, making progress on this city requires more motivation than other things on the game.
  • Cephren Town has been updated. We've changed some graphics and made characters more lively.
  • The introduction has been scrapped and changed to one that better connects the player to our main character.
  • The option of a male protagonist, Kolton, is completely phased out once and for all: we've decided that our story's hero is female.
  • A multitude of other small changes, like fixing spelling mistakes and such.

The game will remain on sale until Sunday for those of you who still haven't purchased your copy. Thanks for everyone's support!

About This Game

The people of Alcomby once lived in peace. People with the power to transmute matter, called Alchemists, rose to power and reigned peacefully. Then, the world changed when people without these special powers fought back. With the help of The Church, Alchemists were forced to take part in The Great War to save their lineage and keep their rule. Unfortunately, outnumbered, the Alchemists' reign ended, and The Church took control over the land of Alcomby. Now, in these post-war times, The Church is looking to eradicate the Alchemists once and for all.
You, having experienced the war first-hand, are an orphan. Your parents were killed by Alchemists when you were at a very young age. Thus, you've decided to also fight the Alchemists independently. You are an Alchemist hunter, and you are determined to set things right.

The current update includes:
Exploring our world and finding snippets of the lore behind it
Completely individualized NPCs. No duplicates...EVER
A character customizer
A few major story cutscenes

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Any sexual content that we have marked for this game is not shown in any way, just implied. There might be some more upfront references, but no adult content ever shows on screen.
