About This Game

Otto and the Ancient Worlds is an 8-bit action platformer about a small bearded archaeologist searching for his missing partner, Persephone. What he finds instead is the library of Hephaestus — an ancient collection where every book holds a living world of mythology and folklore. Then something goes terribly wrong, and every book is torn open, releasing the worlds inside!

Whip your way through six stages, from Medusa's lair to the Egyptian afterlife, and return each world to its book. Every stage hides three artifacts, three historical figures, and an outfit that transforms your charged attack in that world's theme. Bring the figures home and watch Hephaestus' cave come back to life around you.

You will move like Mega Man, attack like Castlevania, look like Mario, and you're cousins to Shovel Knight!
