Why Early Access?

“The game is already fun and playable, but we have more features coming. We're developing it further while it's already being played by the community, to benefit from all the feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until we've shipped all the major features (e.g. Steam Workshop support, team mode, etc.), and are ready to transition to full release (at which point we will still continue to update it, but with smaller batches). We expect this to be anywhere between 6 months and 1 year. Definitely more than 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We enter Early Access with a duel mode, in multiplayer and in single-player modes. During the Early Access period we plan to add sessions for 3 and 4 players, team mode, and Steam Workshop modding. Throughout Early Access (and beyond), we keep adding more cards and adjusting the balance of the existing deck, it's a part of the ops.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable in single-player and multiplayer modes in the duel format (2 players only), and can be played with a variety of goals (rounds, score, or "best of" condition).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We launch at a very modest price point. The price of the game will certainly increase at the time of its full release; and maybe as well as during the Early Access period – whenever we add enough features and content to justify that.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community is at the heart of our development process. We're fully engaged on Steam forums and we run a dedicated Discord server for our games. Moreover, we frequently release build updates, keeping the development process transparent.”
