Version 1.0.1 is out!

We are super excited to announce that our team has completed the first major update with all the fixes.
We've addressed some of the major concerns that the users have had over the past few days. We are a small team of 3 developers we're trying to be very proactive and fix things as and when they appear.

In this update we've fixed a problem with the inventory, now you'll be able to stack all the items including tools on top of one another in the inventory. Right clicking on an item will remove an item from the inventory. Upgrading your inventory is also easier now, we've balanced it so you won't be needing too many materials to upgrade them. Apart from that we've improved the pacing of the story mode as well, to make the gameplay a lot better, you'll feel each passing story break will have a lasting impact on how you play the game.

Minor Bugs
- UI Issues have been fixed.
- Issue with the crafting has been resolved and we've also changed the crafting indicator to a green icon instead of the red whenever you have all the items necessary to craft items.

In case you have issues starting the game, please uninstall and reinstall the game.

All aboard The Last Train

Our team over at Smash Game Studios is super excited to announce the launch of our new game The Last Train. The game has been in development for quite a while. It has been a crazy experience to get from start to finish.

We've been hearing feedback from all the players who had access to the game earlier, we've done our best to address most of the concerns by making the game more engaging by increasing the speed of the progress.

We also felt the price of the game at launch was too much so we've decided to reduce it so more players can play the game.

We are a team of 3 developers, we are doing our best to fix issues as and when they arise. In the first update we've pushed post release we've included support for Linux version and added controller support for the game along with a few other UI issues.

We've already planned a road map ahead for how we want to continue development of the game. We are planning to add a new game mode. Where the primary focus of the story will be managing logistics of moving materials and resources from one part of the country to the other. The events of that takes place after the main story mode is complete.

About This Game

Get ready to go on the adventure of a Lifetime

The Last Train is a Survival Adventure Game where you take the role of one of the last surviving train pilot in a post world War 2 America. The game is set in Alternate History, post the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. In this emotional journey, the story explores how war affects ordinary citizens who want to go about their day to day lives, not just the brave soldiers who fight on the front lines. As a train pilot you are tasked to go around the country to help as many people as you can. Will you help the remaining survivors reach their families, help the terminally ill or will you be greedy and make the most out of the dire situation by hoarding all the supplies you get from them? All the decisions that you take will shape the story and affect the world around you.

Team Smash Game Studios would like to thank each and every one of our supporters on Indiegogo who put their faith in us and believed we could deliver this game. We sincerely hope that you enjoy playing the game as much as we enjoyed making it.
