Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a parody of the Battle Royale genre. A bunch of physics-based weirdos fight it out on an island, everything is silly and possibly a bit buggy.

Patch 8.2: Some performance and ring changes

We know cheating is currently a huge issue. Unfortunately this is not the patch that fixes that but we are very close to having a first line of defense that will be going live before the end of the week.

This patch aims to fix the issues a lot of players have been experiencing with the ring.
We’re adding more time to the end game and increasing the amount of bikes and motorcycles in non-main areas. This should give players a bigger chance against the ring even if you don't jump a high action area. Thank you all for the feedback on patch 8!
Please let us know what you think of the new ring speed.

New regions:

(South American servers have been ordered and are on the way)

-Made the first ring (Not the one that is already moving when you start, the one after that) start quite a bit later.
-Added a bunch of bike and motorcycle spawns to smaller compounds
-Fixed a bunch of audio bugs ("shoot! shoot!")
-Lowered volume of Tripoloski
-Added the names of the two new areas to the map interface
-Fixed issue where the Two Shot would bug out if you put scopes on it.
-Hopefully fixes issue that was causing blurry visuals after the first wall is placed
-Limited amount of parrots that can be thrown per second
-Made it impossible for hackers to spawn parrots on other players.

-Optimized inactive cars
-Dead players are now removed after 10 seconds

Please keep questions to the forums or email as we cannot answer here.

Make sure to restart steam and verify the integrity of the game files, the server may take a few minutes to update.

About This Game

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds just went premium and now costs 4.99$. We’re still working on the server issues, anti-cheat measures and matchmaking. We recommend anyone who feels hesitant about getting the game to wait until we have it sorted.

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a last-weirdo-standing battle royale game!

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds was originally made as an April Fools' parody of the Battle Royal genre and the game Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Jump onto an island from flying trucks, find a gun and survive and look silly while doing it, find and eliminate all your opponents to win the round!

  • Huge map
  • Physics-based EVERYTHING
  • Unit Customization

Why does the game cost money for the people who download it after the first 100 hours?

The first 100 hours after the release will be free for all and that means free forever, if you got the game before the first 100 hours end you will NOT have to pay to keep it. The 4.99$ price after the first 100 hours goes to preserving the game such as server costs etc.

Why are you making a battle royale game?!

TABG is an April Fools' joke, we’ve done one every year since 2016. We've previously combined one of our games with another genre or game. The first year we made Supertruck, a mix between the game Superhot and Clustertruck. Last year we made TABZ which is a mix of TABS and DAY-Z. We spend an enormous amount of lunch breaks and nights playing battle royale games, this is an homage to a genra we love.

Why are you making another game? Shouldn't you be working on TABS?

We didn’t take much time away from TABS, we took some time to work on TABG because we wanted to bring you something while you wait for TABS. We knew that TABZ last year, and Supertruck the year before was very appreciated by our community and thought we’d keep up the tradition by making yet another game for you to play.

Why are you releasing it in June and not April?

We had some networking issues but were determined to finish up the game to share it with you all!
