Why Early Access?

“Our structure is built around one core concept - if you were imbued with magical power and really could cast spells - how would that make you FEEL? We want to remove the notion of “being in a game” and focus on the experience of power.

The control system, range of spells and variety of locations can grow over time, but we want to ensure that the core concept is solid, compelling and FUN.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game world is very modular, using devices like “teleportation pads” to move players between shared social environments, battlegrounds, etc. so we envisage a smooth transition out of Early Access where we begin regular updates with new spells, battlegrounds and items. We can then build up the world of An Domhan (the home of the Draoi) into a rich social/playable environment.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core “spell casting” and world/social systems are both very solid. We have a range of damage/healing/protection/creation spells that are HUGE fun to use. We have created the core world to include:

• A VR “Home” space (settings, modify avatar appearance, etc)
  
• A core, multi-location “Social Space” where you can meet and talk to other players online, navigate/explore, share spells, etc.
  
• Some great playable locations where teams can battle for supremacy or duel each other to hone their casting skills.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We’ll offer the Early Access title at a lower price than the final release because our modular approach allows us to build as large a game world as we want, without changing player’s existing knowledge or experiences. We’ll also look at offering our early adopters special titles or adornments as a way of thanking them of course!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The players will drive a huge amount of this process. It is such an “experiential” game that we need to ensure it FEELS amazing and we can only do that with feedback from the community.”
