Why Early Access?

“We have been building our VR Game OutOfColors for quite a while now. It's now fully functional though missing some details such as Sound, better graphics here and there etc. We have tons of ideas how to proceed with the game and the contest around color sprays but as we are self funded it is highly essential for us to see if the game and it's main ideas work. To get feedback as early as possible from the VR game community we decided to launch the game in early access.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We think we will stay for a couple of weeks (5-7 weeks probably) in early access. We work everyday on the VR gam but we also need the help of the community to know better what to focus on.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of OutOfColors you will have more racetracks to play. The room will have more interactable objects. We plan to bring a dedicated painting room where you have a better usability when painting your car. We also want to create more brushes and improved painting functionalities such as undo, reset etc. Once we have enough players and customized cars we want to elect the most beautiful customized car.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully functional but we might have some bugs we need to fix. You can play single or multiplayer mode. You can drive the rc car just for fun or drive on a racetrack (at the moment we offer 5 different indoor racetracks). You can win color sprays as trophies. The color sprays you can use to paint on your car. Other players will see your customized car. You can play basketball and chat with your friends while playing multiplayer.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will not change the price when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We highly appreciate feedback from the community. Especially bug reports, feature ideas and general comments. We will then use this feedback to prioritize our work.”
