Wozu Early Access?

„2020 update below. We are building out a platform for fun competitive games using our core technology, the Arc Board. The Arc Board VR locomotion system provides comfortable high speed movement. The virtual hoverboard responds to your body movement, allowing you to dart around a course and jump over obstacles and on to platforms.

Our first series of tracks will have a start and finish, with an emphasis on agility and navigation. We’ll be introducing other competitive areas and team play.

NOTE: Leaderboards may get deleted during Early Access.

We are really enjoying building this game, and are having a lot of fun testing it out. Grab a board and get in the zone.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Here it is 2020, and we haven't made much progress this last year. As a self-funded indie studio, and the need to have regular income, development has taken a back seat until now. With things stabilized for the team, we will once again be putting regular effort into moving Arc Surfer to version 1 and beyond.

We still see this as a really fun unique experience, and with the feedback and tester data we have received, we will be doing our best to make it an experience that you will enjoy solo or with friends. Hang on for a great year. Surfs up!“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„Our next steps are to start adding more tracks and other types of competitions, also to refine the multiplayer experience.

Even though we already have three original music tracks, we plan on doing a lot of work with the audioscape.

Early Access will give us time to build out a variety of experiences with the input of early adopters.“

„Currently there are two tracks, and multiplayer includes VOIP, so you can talk to your friends.
There is a tutorial track and solo mode.
This core includes the Arc Board, multiplayer, voice chat, and leaderboards.“

„We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.“

To become superstars, the next generation of athletes have to master the Arc Board™, a hoverboard that allows perfect control at high speeds.

Are you ready to surf the spark in Arc Surfer?

The Arc Board™ is the equipment needed to perform in the extreme sport of Arc Surfer. The Arc Board is the next generation of skateboard, snowboard, or surfboard that can be activated at any time and reaches speeds of 90 mph.

The Arc Board’s high-speed nimble movements are controlled by shifting your body weight, allowing you to freely change directions, jump, and maintain continuous control on the ground and in midair.

Like any extreme sport, mastery of the Arc Board is difficult to attain, but once reached, all the glory of being a star athlete in the Arc Surfer universe is yours for the taking.
