V2.1 Patchnotes.

Just a small update that fixes and tweaks a few things.
  • Mirror Tower spawn should work %100 of the time now.
  • Purpose music plays again.
  • Changed S-Rank time from 1 hour to be only 45 minutes. A few people said 1 hour was too easy! >:D
  • Speed rank achievement descriptions are fixed.
  • Made some hitboxes in Purpose to be more forgiving.

Also the Mirror Tower music should be uploaded to the DLC as soon as possible.

P.S. In case you didn't know, the Mirror Tower music is just the Space music in reverse.

V2.0 + DLC Announcement!

It's BEAN a while!

V2.0 will be released before the end of today! It includes the following:
  • A new world, "The Mirror Tower".
  • A special surprise has been added to the party world!
  • An in game timer!
  • Speedrun ranks, as well as achievements to go with them.
  • French language! (Took me forever, things might not be translated, let me know what slipped through the cracks!)
  • Some new spooky NPC has appeared in Purpose.
  • Various level tweaks.
  • Added an achievement for beating the Green Tower without getting a single coin. (The level has been rearranged to do this.)
  • Increased anguish factor by adding the above achievement.
  • Party entrance dialogue no longer spoils the fact that there is a double jump.
  • You can quick fly out of the party zone!
  • You can leave the tower climb segment prematurely.
  • Made it clearer that you should hold the shoot button down at the Cotton boss fight.
  • Removed/Changed some files around that could lead to shitty Norton thinking there is a virus in a simple Unity game. I hate you Norton.
  • Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. It's a big update, cut me some slack.

And for my final act...

Say hello to the upcoming FINAL content addition to Squirm, "The Legend of Bean!".
Have a look!
The brand new adventure that serves as a prologue to the main game!
Uncover the dark history of Squimlia!
It will be in the form of paid DLC.
After it's release, there will be no more new content updates. Just patches.

Remember that new world mentioned in the patch notes called "The Mirror Tower"?
This world will serve as the bridge between the base game and the DLC.
Right now, it is available to play by pressing the new "DLC" button on the main menu.
You will need to have eaten the bean for this to work!
Think of it as a sort of teaser preview thingy before the DLC releases.

Hopefully I can release it before the end of December. (Hopefully.)

Until then, have fun playing around with the new content.

Let me know of any bugs/untranslated dialouge.
Thanks! - Alex :D
