What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Provide an immensely intense emotional and visual experience - this is the goal that
we have pursued ever since we began working on Lucid Dream. For a small indie
studio, that Dali Games is, an opinion of an international community of players is
essential for achieving the objectives that we set before us. Early Access is an
excellent opportunity to get to know your opinion and introduce changes that will
make Lucid Dream even more magical, emotional and intriguing production. We
want to share our experiences with you, listen to your suggestions, together with you
we aim at creating a game that will long remain in the memory of players worldwide.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access phase should end approximately after 3 months, however, due to the fact that some of the changes you propose may be time-consuming, this period might be slightly longer. All this effort is made so that to the final result could meet your expectations and offer the best possible solutions.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“At the beginning of the EA phase, we are providing approximately 40% (3-4 hours of game play) of fully-playable, final content from the complete version of Lucid Dream. Below is a list of the chapters that are now available in the EA phase:

- Home, Sweet Home
- Lunar Roofs
- Planet of the Oneiromancer
- There and Back Again I
- Land of Souls
- There and Back Again II
- Teleportation Gate

We plan to gradually share the subsequent chapters of the game, introducing you to the dreamlike world of Lucid Dream step by step. The sinister 'Atelier of the Self' and the mysterious 'Wastelands of Time' are examples of additional levels that we'll add to the final version of the game. Below is a list of additional content, which we plan add to enrich the final edition of Lucid Dream:

- The Hills of Regret - follow in the path of the Greek legend
- Atelier of the Self - escape from the prison of your own mind
- Wastelands of Time - free yourself from the ominous clutches of time
- There and Back Again III - finally, face your own history
- The Marshes of Vision - Make an ancient star and go on your final journey
- The Favela of Babel - find your way to the final solution

We also plan to enrich the game with the ability to have three save files, a diary with pictures telling about the history of the main character, hints to help overcome obstacles, Steam achievements, Steam ranking, and the ability to save your game in the Steam cloud.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully stable and its reception at this stage will allow you to experience magical adventures in accordance with the rules of the point & click genre. Systematically, we will be adding new content which will allow you to experience an extraordinary and emotional journey, together with Lucy, the main character of Lucid Dream.

Below is a list of the chapters that are now fully available in the EA phase:

- Home, Sweet Home

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price can change during the early access and it can be increased after the early access phase is ended.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Your feedback is crucial for Lucid Dream to receive its finishing touches. We would like the community gathered among fans of point & click games and players who appreciate the games’ narrative layer to continuously share with us their thoughts and suggestions. About This Game

About the Game: Help little Lucy battle the demons tormenting her loved-ones. Travel through countless lands of dreamlike fantasies and solve challenging puzzles. Explore the interpenetrating worlds of dreams and consciousness; be careful not to go astray on the winding paths of the subconscious. Display your cunning, memory skills, and ability to observe in accordance with the traditional rules of a point & click adventure game. During your journey you will meet colorful heroes such as the Onieromancer: a mysterious translator of dreams; Metatron: an archangel of the magical wilderness, or the Horologist of Light: a mysterious old man with an impenetrable face. However, choose your advisors wisely and be careful not to follow false leads. Escape from the house of suffering and embark on a magical journey into the unknown. Journey through the countless lands of sleep and see if fate will be kind to little Lucy.

Plot Summary: Confined to her wheelchair, little Lucy enters a world of dream fantasies and nightmares, facing the ghosts of the demons of her past. Tragically deprived of her father, the girl tries to save the only person who remains close to her: her ailing mother, all while fighting for her own soul. Time is not her ally; every shed tear brings her closer to the land of oblivion.

The Game World: You will travel with us to myriad worlds of surreal fantasy, where the bounds of physics cease to apply; but you will also return to the overwhelming weight of reality.

Puzzles to Solve: Awaken the eternal dream of the Soothsayer, release the lost soul of a traveling stranger, surrender to divine judgment; the puzzles in Lucid Dream are not only challenges that stimulate creativity, but are also, perhaps above all else, magic and symbolism woven into dozens of puzzles and tasks, providing a satisfying adventure.

Graphics: The hand-drawn graphics in Lucid Dream are more than just a background for the game, they are the realization of the emotions and fears of the main character, and make the gaming experience more immersive, complete, and intense.

Music: There are certain melodies that lodge in our memory for a long time, inseparably connecting our recollections of the game with their sound. If you would like to find out for yourself, play Lucid Dream and set sail with us on a magical journey.

Interface: Read between the lines of the stories told by heroes that you will encounter on your way, pore over every object and every thing. In the dream world, not everything will be as it appears. Let the fantasy lead you, combine objects, and create solutions that are not available in the gray world of reality.
