Why Early Access?

“We want to encourage the community to help make JuVentures together. Much of the content in this game was suggested by members of the community, from the earliest drawings down to the smallest details you can find. We'll continue including suggestions as long as the community wants to.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As long as JuVentures needs to be polished.
Since we will continue to add new scenes over time, even after Early-Access, it’s more a matter of “when does the game look awesome enough and feel smooth enough”. However, we plan to leave early access before the end of August 2018.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

  • Polishing: Controls, UI, overall presentation.
  • Mac and Linux/SteamOS support. Since supporting multiple platforms takes a lot of time, the game needs to be in a more finished state before we can take that on..
  • At least 9 scenes in the game. We'll add more after Early Access, but without a fixed schedule.
  • Maybe Steam Controller support
  • Steam Achievements
  • Steam Cards

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“JuVentures runs without crashing and performs well. With 7 complete pictures--some of which are quite a challenge--it’s fun to play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This depends on how long JuVentures is in Early Access. Since the game is also about supporting me and my art, you can always drop me a SUB on my twitch channel if you want to support me more. ;)”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Basically: Twitch and Discord
I stream my drawing regularly google calendar
While I also draw other things in the stream besides JuVentures, Sundays are (mostly) dedicated to it right now.
If you have suggestions but don’t live in a timezone from which you can join me doing the artwork live, come to our discord.”

Update v0.6.0 - Lost Village



Hello juventurers,

good things need time, so did the new scene: Lost Village, but it’s finally here :steamhappy:
We decided to include the patch runner in this release, so you know directly what changed since last time (at least the interesting parts, as always :2016watermelon:). There are a bunch of bug-fixes and improvements, some of those improvements were highly requested by you, the players and we didn’t only hear “your concerns” (like other publishers and developers), we didn’t stopped at listening, we changed and hope you like our little game now even more :ghsmile:.

Also: there is now a dedicated JuVentures Twitter account (JuVenturesGame) for all the amazing things that are going on in your favorite hidden object game :ghsmile:

Update v0.5.0 - Patch Runner



Hello juventurers,

thank you for all the support and your feedback :ghsmile:
This update is mainly polishing and stitching together what we have done since the last patch runner. We are skipping ahead to v0.5.0, because all tickets for alpha 0.4.x are finally closed \o/. So it’s quite a big step for us to finally finish this milestone. The patch runner list is, like the last one, not fully complete. We’ve omitted boring technical stuff, so while there is even more going on, this way we get to focus on the interesting information that you, the players, will likely notice within the game.
Also there are currently two new scenes in the making. We hope you’re excited, we certainly are :ghsmile:.

gameplay

Find all the hidden objects (and other easter eggs ;) while accompanying our heros, Nita and Snek, through the lovely drawn and highly detailed pictures.
You can enter the drawn scenes from an Art-Gallery-styled menu; then you try to find all listed hidden objects in each scene. As you progress through the different scenes, you reveal more of Nita and Snek’s story.
