“Our vision is to make one of the best war themed multiplayer shooter games ever! But to do it blindly without taking in feedback as we progress in production would be foolish. As such, we want to involve you in our production. We value opinions from our fans and we want to make sure that we are building a product for you and not ourselves. The only way to ensure that is to develop our product organically based on the feedback we gather from fans. We also want to use the feedback and data we receive to properly balance the game so that the player experience will be greatly enhanced upon full launch.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have not yet set a target launch date, although it is likely to be within 6 months from now. Our intention is not to rush out of Early Access as we want to build a really good game and we will only switch to Full Release once we feel the game is ready.”

v1.0 Update

Greetings Soldiers!

We have a quite a big update for the veterans of the game today!

We are happy to announce our ranking and medal system along with a revamped weapon system.

All the current weapons have been updated to include a bolt action or cocking feature which will be required after the gun has been reloaded.

We really wanted to include the feature that lets players hold the weapon from the front with either hand so that they can reload with the main hand. We are working on pushing this out and it should be out within a month. In the meantime, we hope that players can familiarize themselves with the revamped weapons.

The next update will be a big one and we hope to have your continued support

As always, we are continually trying to fine-tune our game and listening to your feedback! Please let us know what you guys think and keep sending the constructive feedback and ideas our way.

Ranking System:
  • Players can now rank up
    • Players will be able to earn various ranks and medals by playing the the game!
    • Ranks will be shown in game and lobby next to the players name

      • The leaderboard will be reset monthly and will be based on

      • Players can now check their statistic for both their recent match and their lifetime stats.

      • Medals can be earned by players based on various achievements and milestones in game

      • Added disarm message/reminder - When all players are dead but the bombs are still planted.

      • All guns now have a bolt action system that will require interaction after reloading to shoot again

      • Fixed a bug with grenade pin - The pin must now be pulled after grabbing off chest.

v0.99 Update

Greetings Soldiers!

We have a new update for you guys today!

We are happy to announce that our DOM (Attack/Defend) game mode has been revamped. Players will have to carefully plan out their attack route as there are no longer respawns in this game mode. We are still fine-tuning this mode so let us know what you guys think!

Also, snap turn and jump are enabled for Oculus users now (for real this time)!

There have been some balance changes and fixes. The player models also have updated movement animations.

Here’s the full list of updates below.

Game Settings:
  • Attack/Defend mode
    • Adjusted so that players no longer respawn, and the round will end when the enemy team has been eliminated
    • Adjusted so that victory conditions have been changed from “destroy all targets” ---> “destroy any target”
    • Game time has been reduced to 3 minutes per round
    • Players who join mid round will not spawn until the next round
    • UI window for selecting weapons is now shown at the beginning of each round

  • BOTs
    • Bots may now be added to DOM games
    • Bots are now able to throw grenades

Oculus Rift:
  • Snap turn support added: push right/left controller's(if you set you as righty/lefty) thumbstick to right or left to do make snap turn
  • Jumping now mapped on controller: press button A/X if you set you as righty/lefty

  • New map “Library”

    • Will support Team Deathmatch game mode

  • Train Factory
    • Attack/Defend mode: Bombsites have been reduced from 3 → 2 for better balancing

  • Abandoned Factory
    • Adjusted the route in Team Deathmatch game mode.

  • Helmets are now throwable!

  • Smoke Grenade may now be carried in the ‘backpack’
  • Knifes now have physics and will interact with the environment (map objects)

Balance Changes:
  • Grenades
    • Are now limited to 2 per player per respawn (grenades do not stack, and players will not have more than 2 per life)
  • Sniper Rifles
    • Sniper rifle damage has been adjusted for headshots. It only takes one shot to the head regardless if the enemy player has a helmet on or not.
  • Movement
    • Players now run slightly faster when empty handed or are holding light weapons (ex: pistols, grenades, bombs - Attack/Defend)

  • Improved animation for all player movements

Front Defense: Heroes allows you to play alone or team up with friends:

Solo - Join a match or fight alongside against AI bots.
Multiplayer - Form teams and fight against each other in epic battles supporting up to 5v5. Discuss tactics through real time voice chat and win through strategic teamwork.

Combat Modes:

Free-For-All: Players fight against each other by wiping out as many enemies as possible. There are no allies.
Team Deathmatch: Join or form your own team and win by killing enemies on the opposing team within the time limit.
Offense and Defense:The two sides take turns playing offense and defense. The offensive team needs to have tactics to destroy a designated target at full force while the defensive team needs to guard their base and fight-off their opponents.

    Locomotion Controls:

    We developed the unique V-locomotion, which gives players a 3rd-person, out-of-body experience in controlling their avatar through the battlefield. This highlights the immersion of tactical movement for covering each other and fighting the battles strategically.

    However, you prefer smooth locomotion that is also an option in the game setting menu.

    Authentic Battle Maps

    Run around old European streets, factories, and even graveyards as you engage in exciting deathmatches, fighting alongside your friends to decimate the opposing team.
