Varför Early Access?

“This is a game created by long-term fans of the genre and we hope to be able to achieve greatness. We want your feedback and your ideas what you want to see in this game. This project is ever growing and shall eventually be the go to game if you want to play something with bombs and blowing up friends.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“The game has been iterated for a long time now and we spent months bringing it to a properly playable state that hopefully gives you a good peek into which direction the final product will evolve.
We want to release Bomb Bots Arena in the following steps:

• 1. Closed Beta - A selected group of players will be pulled into the closed beta to see features in a really early stages. You can apply via our Discord Server.
  
• 2. Open Beta - Everyone can join the fun and give us feedback to shape the game.
  
• 3. Release - As soon as the game reaches a point where we and your are happy with the state of the game we will officially release the game. This does not end the production though since we will have a team creating more content and improving the game moving forward.

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The base game will stay the same. Arena Bomb battles with friends and frenemies. We will eventually let the game grow in terms of how many player will be able to compete each other at the same time. We start out with up to 8 player modes and eventually grow to a full 100 player battle royale... we heard people seem to like these kind of games nowadays.


Of course we want to experiment with Maps, might include new abilites and Power Ups.
Additionally you will be able to play with people on other devices as well.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“For a full feature list check out the "About us" section.
The game currently features 4 player online and offline, as well as 8 player online matches.

The game is finished to 70% and is already fun. Now it needs to get to 100% and be even more fun.

We are working on this game for so long that we now need some outside perspective. That's where you come in. Bring your friends and give us your feedback. (Don't be too mean please :3 )

The game is going to be free.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Bomb Bots Arena is the first game funded by the german game program. 70% of the costs are covered by that fund. The rest is our money we earned by doing contracting.

The game will release as free to play title. If you want to support us feel free to buy some cosmetic items and spread the word. We will invest the incoming money back into the game.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“As mush as possible. See this as your Wishlist-Game. We will look at all your ideas and be super transparent if we think we can do it and of course will discuss our own as well with you guys.
We can only think ahead so much. You the players are the ones to be pleased, so tell us what you want so play.

We hope you will participate in discussions we will start on our steam community page, twitter and discord.
We will have votes on which features we should prioritize, which one we should scrap and share the progress with you on a weekly basis.

This is a typical game as a service. We want to make the best Bomb Arena game for YOU. So YOU get to decide.”
