1.05 Update released today! Also with Artbook, OST, and new mechas and pilots available for purchase!

This 1.05 update includes many improvement and adjustment, mainly focused on the feedbacks players gave us in the first month after launch. These new contents should be able to improve your user experience effectively. Also, we still expect to hear from you. Your feedbacks are the power of our hard working development!

New Contents
  • Training levels added in singleplayer game.Kindly follow the instruction given by Qin, players can practice and master their combat skills in 5 different trainig levels. (Undefeated for 2000 trainig battles is always the key to ace pilot.)

  • Map "Tiamat Dock" added in multiplayer game. This is a small sized map. Melee-focused mechas can easily approach to their enemies and attack them. Also, the narrow structure made sniper mechas superior in this map.

  • Career stats added in multiplayer game.Players can look up their stats here, including number of selection for different mechas, K/D ratios and so on. The data starts calculate from this update, and counts only for quick matchs.

Improvements and Adjustments
  • In singleplayer mode, repair stations now recover items and ammos for additional weapons. Players can use the items and additional weapons more. Just remember to equip them in customize.
  • In singleplayer mode, fast cutscene skip button has been added. Hold cancel button on your controller (or Space on your keyboard) to skip cutscenes without having to open the pause menu.
  • In settings, horizontal assist switch has been added. Players can't get used to it can turn it off for accurate aiming in horizontal axis.

  • In singleplayer mode, Shield Strike has been changed to match its description. Attacks from the front can be blocked when using Shield Strike.
  • In singleplayer mode, New Model Joint Motor now not only reduce cooldown times for melee moves, but also increases the damage dealt by melee attacks.
  • In singleplayer mode, damage dealt by ultimate skills has been increased, but ultimate skills no longer fill the ultimate skill gauge.
  • In singleplayer mode, Easy Mode Enhance Device has been enhanced more.
  • In multiplayer mode, the match result has been changed for clearer data display. Players can also check out their detailed stats like number of assist kills.

  • In multiplayer mode, a basic anti-botting mechanism has been added. Normal players have lower chance to be matched up with a botting player. (Though we have little experience on this issue, we'll continue to improve it and to create a better gaming environment for the players.)
  • Other fixes to increase the game performance and stability.

New Contents For Steam Store
  • Multiplayer DLC - Additional playable mecha - Round Hammer Particle Cannon This mecha can only be obtained by buying the Round Hammer Particle Cannon figure. It is now available for every player to buy and use in the multiplayer game. Self-explosion is always the basic for ace pilot, don't you wanna go for it?

We attach great importance to every pilot’s opinions and suggestions, and are still looking for solutions to some of the problems you have raised before. As a small indie game team, due to the lack of teammates and funds, the optimization would take some time. Please give us some more time T-T.

“Quality of animations in this game is surprisingly high while level design is also brilliant. Levels full of details and always brings surprises, which makes people feel the great efforts of development team. Excellent story and adequate contents provides players an charming experience as the protagonist of robot anime.”
8.8/10 – IGN Japan

“Levels full of changes, coupled with rapid storyline, the playing time is very pleasant. Diverse side missions are also fun: stealth, special rescue, fixed-point defense... Besides, pilots can jump out of mecha to explore and interact. Mecha could be equipped by collecting additional weapons in the hidden areas. As a mecha game, it has a solid quality.”
33/40 – Famitsu

“In short, it’s a genuinely brilliant 2D mecha brawler. Not only does it have some of the nicest 2D animation I’ve seen in a good while but also the game mechanics are really grounded too.”

1.03 Patch: Dual-Stick Control Mode

  • Added dual-stick control mode.
  • Stabilized network connection.
  • Bug fix: Some players cannot connect to the server when log-in the first time.
  • Bug fix: Some players may drop during online multiplayer.

We have collected many feedbacks from players in these 2 days from launch. Thank you for your love. For bugs, we are currently working hard to collect information and trying to fix them.

We value your opinion and feedbacks, especially for those who mentioned controller issues.
Customize controller map is a fairly complicated functionality to implement that we can’t finish it in a short period of time. So, we added an experimental dual-stick control mode in this patch.
Based on a previous finished implementation, with feedbacks from all of you, as we “sacrificed” some programmers, tonight, we finally completed 2 new one. (We planned to have more programmers making contract with devils to implement customized controller map)

When you have updated your game for this patch, you can choose “Experimental Type 1” and “Experimental Type 2” in the Controller menu in SETTING. Patches for other platforms will be online later due to platform review process.

Please contact us through the following channels to get feedbacks on time if you encountered any problem.

We’re really looking forward to listening from you and make the game better. Please continue to support HARDCORE MECHA!
