“A train station's life is full of problems, mysteries and complexity. During the design of Train Station Simulator, our main goal was to let our growing community bring their newly created station to live on a realistic level.

The main goal is not only to play a game but by their user feedback and ideas, they actively participate in the creative process of creating new features and fulfill a dream to have a realistic train station simulation game.”

“The final 1.0 release of Train Station Simulator is planned for 2020 Q4/2021 Q1. We believe that alongside with the community, we can deliver lots of new contents, features and challenges.”

“Train Station Simulator has been designed to be a realistic station simulation. The basic simulation functions of the game already work with some great fun additions to make it more relaxing and easy to use. We would like to add lots of new features, scenarios, weather-related events, disasters, new graphical content packs, engines, passenger related new functions, new staff types, objects and facilities. The community page will have an active part of the future development of the coming new functions.

We plan to add the following features:

  • Weather-related events: rain, snow, windy weather
  • Disaster modes: train accidents, trees on rails,
  • Thieves, robberies and bomb threat related events
  • Advanced terminal evacuation
  • New staff types: swat team, engineers, train cleaner units, track maintenance service
  • Advanced passenger AI
  • More transportation connections: underground station, trolleybus terminal, parking lot
  • New objects: overpass, underpass, moving walkways, advanced vending machines, recreation area, park, playground
  • New facilities: advanced restaurants, bars and buffets, pet relief area, lost and found, meditation room, nursery
  • More colorful passenger types: children, elderly, disabled, beggers, hooligans, pickpocket, train graffiti artists, distraught passengers, smoking violators

“The current Early Access version of Train Station Simulator is completely playable and all major station simulation functions are in place.

Expanding content with constant updates (version - 0.9.4.0 Updated*: 16th/June/2020)

  • 63+ different objects to place
  • 30+ types of trains, locomotives, engines and carriages
  • 25+ different staff members in 5 settable categories and an extra 2 categories of shoe-shiners and shop assistants (assistants are part of each cafes and restaurants by default)
  • 24+ types of passengers including vandal persons and homeless persons and disabled persons
  • 25 different cars from the 70s and 90s and bicycles
  • 16+ types of shops/restaurants and other facilities to place
  • 9 public transportation vehicles
  • 6 doors
  • 5 types of rails: standard, advanced, electric, magnetic, light hiber
  • 5 flooring
  • 4 platform types
  • 3 walls
*Not all content available in all game modes at once.

Main building functions:

All building, placing and zoning features, employee setup and list view, public transportation schedule, train schedule and five day statistics menu work properly. Standard passenger AI has been enabled already: after arrival passengers need to buy their tickets and each individuals have their own indicator for food, drink, bladder, rest and mood that results in different behaviors.

Standard goal:

The main task in Train Station Simulator is to build, operate and expand your station. The more happy passengers you can travel to their destination, the more money player can earn to enlarge the terminal building and create new routes and more advanced facilities.

Developing a station simulation is not an easy task and we are not there yet completely. However, we need to balance new features and create advanced functions and file some bugs or misleading features.”

“The Early Access version starts with an introductory lower price. We plan to raise the price of the game as new and more advanced features will be available.”

“Community is a key part of the future development of Train Station Simulator. Our plan is to launch regular updates and we invite the community to offer feedback, suggestions and request modifications to help creating a better station simulation.”

Hire your staff and manage salaries and working shifts:
Keep your station clean of debris, secure all areas by police officers and never ran a train off the track by employing system engineers. Hire your staff for a more reliable operation. A cleaner station makes passengers happy that increases income.

Deliver more tracks and manage all schedules:
As time flies by your terminal hub starts to expand. Set up restaurants, bars and cafés and allow them to grow and bloom into successful businesses. Open up new building wings and connect all areas with corridors so passengers can easily access all spaces.

Select from campaign modes to endless game play
Train Station Simulator will be shipping with over 25 uniquely designed game modes ready to be played not only for days but weeks and months. The game includes "Campaign", "Ready", "Mission", "Survival" and "Endless" play modes.
