BIG UPDATE: Soundtrack now available, new achievements, colorblind mode, and more!

Hey everyone,

big update today! Here's all the new stuff we've added:

The Not Tonight OST is now available!

We asked you lot to vote for your favourite 15 music tracks from the game... but then we decided to make the soundtrack 17 tracks long instead, because why not! That tracklist is as follows:

Can You Feel Me (Chez Remix) - Love Beans
In the Blue - Tommy Ljungberg
Jack Elphick - Rough Diamond 1
Under the Stars - Squiid
Keep Coming Back to the Start - Martin Hall
Da Tooby - Down For the Long Run
Bless Up - Martin Landh
Mountain Downhill 3 - Niklas Gustavsson
Centipede - Ruzer
Name Tag - Nivicious
Believing in You (SLCT Remix) - Cacti
Copacabana - Onda Norte
Daxten - You Got Me
Don't Love You - Windshield
Differently - Sture Zetterberg
You Make me Feel - Staffan Carlen
I'll Be Good - Love Beans

You can grab the soundtrack from here:

New Achievements and Trading Cards!

Some people said they wished there were more achievements, signposting cool things and storylines you could find in the game. So we've added them! Boot the game up, and you'll see the full list -- good luck unlocking them all.

Oh, and we've added Steam Trading Cards and Emotes to the game as well, that you'll earn through simply playing the game. Enjoy!

Colorblind Mode

For a while now the Not Tonight team has been looking for ways to ensure that all kinds of players can experience the game in all its glory. We've been speaking to a lot of players to make improvements, and the newest of these is our colour blind mode.

Having to distinguish between flags for some people is nearly impossible, and we felt just putting a filter over the screen wasn't an effective enough solution as it still meant that some players couldn't differentiate quickly between the countries of the Axis of Euro Evil and other, more acceptable countries at speed. We spoke to a wide range of players who shared their experiences and frustrations with us, and we took what we learned to make two distinct changes to the game for our colour blind mode.

Firstly we've made IDs easier to read for various visual impairments by including a country code as part of the flag's design. We've ensured that there are no busy backgrounds behind the lettering and that it is clear for people to read as part of each flag. If there's no code then the ID is clearly a fake (so kick 'em to the curb!). Here's what some new IDs might look like to someone with colour blindness -

The second change is that we've altered some visual cues for super-candy sales to shapes instead of colours. From here on out bubbles will still tell you who to sell a certain kind of super-candy to, but instead of needing to navigate blues and purples at speed, you'll now see triangles appear over the heads of people you should probably avoid selling to.

This along with the backwards hats and fake stripes mean that you never have to deal with colour when dealing.

Next up: Endless Mode and DLC!

We'll have new veeeeery soon about the upcoming Endless Mode, and some special story DLC, that will add a brand new chapter to the game.

Until then, enjoy the achievements, trading cards, and all the jazz!

Love the Not Tonight team xx

What's Next: Soundtrack, Endless Mode, and a Sneak Peek...

Hey everyone!

It's been just over a month since we launched Not Tonight, and the response has been overwhelming. The game has blasted through our expectations, and now we can't wait to see more Not Tonight into your hands :)

Here's what's happening right now:

Vote on the Soundtrack!

Tons of you have been asking for the Official Soundtrack, and we're currently putting it together.

We can't pack the entire soundtrack in (it's 85 tracks, which is obviously ridiculous), so instead we want your help to pick the best 15 tracks from the game.

Visit this link, and you can vote on every track you'd like to see on the OST. (Note that Steam says the link is malicious, but it's really not -- it's just Google Docs!)

Endless Mode

We asked a few weeks ago what you'd like to see in a Not Tonight Endless Mode, and now we're ready to give the first glimpse of how it's shaping up.

There will be tons of options and bits to fiddle with in the Not Tonight Endless Mode, allowing you to set up the game exactly how you want it, and share your challenges with friends.

Expect Endless Mode very soon!

And coming very soon...

Tons of players have been saying that they want more Not Tonight, and we couldn't agree more.

So alongside working on the free Endless Mode update, we've also been working on a brand new chapter for the game, that you'll be able to grab as DLC very soon.

We don't want to spoil too much about it right now, but let's just say that you'll take control of one of Not Tonight's best-loved characters, in their quest to find true happiness.

Expect more details soon!

About This Game

Person of European Heritage #112: Welcome to Relocation Block B, your new home. Your designated role is 'Bouncer'. Work hard, stay out of trouble, and we might let you stay in the UK.

In an alternative Britain where Brexit talks have collapsed, an extreme far-right government has taken power. Citizens of European heritage have been rounded up and exiled. Not Tonight is a post-Brexit management game, fusing a time-pressure RPG with a politically charged story where every decision matters. Will you join the resistance and fight the regime -- or keep your head down and hope that one day this will all be a distant memory?
