Why Early Access?

“Because we are a small developer team and have big plans for the game but want to get feedback as soon as possible.
While we are in Early Access we want to achieve these goals:
1. A Zombie Shooter mode which is playable in Singleplayer, Multiplayer via host client connection and dedicated Server.
2. Create a second game mode "Multiplayer" which is basicly a normal pvp driven mode.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don't know yet , but hopefully not longer then 2 - 3 Years”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“So as mentioned above the goals should then be archived and stable.
After early access we hopefully also have new game modes on the way like.
Hold the Line , a campaign, More Content for the game modes (More Weapons, more Gamemode customaization , more charakters) and maybe also a zombies story and a zombie survival mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have only around 7 Weapons , 2Maps , a quiet stable co-op multiplayer implementation (host to client), a main menu lobby where you can walk around, one character with some animations and we have a dream.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes it will be priced diffrently so get you hands on it as fast as you can , because it won't get cheaper ,well maybe in sale.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will have a forum on Steam where you can report bugs and give us feedback. Also all updates and news will be announced on steam and on our website. You can also create comments on our website under the update notes. Of course we are always open for new ideas so let us know if you have some.
We will try to look at your comments as often as we can but since the game is not developing itself don't expect an immediate reaction our goal will be that we look every morning at new comments for an hour. Also please write only english or german because the translaters are not doing well with translating the sense of the texts you wrote.”

About This Game

If you are not sure if the game is right for you. you can download the free demo which includes the complete game and get's updated like the normal game until a certain point of course

Space Survivors Shooter is a unique fps game that currently features an endless round-based zombie fighting mode.
Hello Space Survivors, if you are wondering why this game is called "Space Survivors Shooter", let me give you a short explanation.
The Game you are looking at right now is not near any finished stage. So the game we want to create will inherit two modes the first one is with zombies which are currently under development. And the second mode is the "real" Space Survivors Shooter which will be a futuristic shooter that will have maps in space and on the ground.

So after that's clear, you might ask yourself so no space yet? The answer is yes, and maybe you are asking yourself now so what can I do in the mode which is already released.
For this let me give you a shortlist:

Buy weapons from walls, with your earned points, which you get by shooting the not very zombie-like looking puppets
Shoot zombies to get points to buy areas open to get to other weapons and perks
Play alone or with friends via steam
Survive as many rounds as you can while the zombies are getting more and have more health each wave.
Get lucky when a powerup get's dropped when you kill a zombie
Configure your own difficulty via editing the XML files in the config directory, there you can set for example the zombies walk speed or the seconds you have between the waves end and the new wave starts. You can also define how many zombies are allowed on screen at the same time and some other cool stuff. (only gamemodes.xml and zombieTypes.xml are used.)
Buy perks so you can have more health carry a third weapon or being able to faster reload you weapons
Get an upgrade for your weapon with the G.A.U machine.
Now to the most important one Give us the developers feedback so we can make the game better

But maybe you are one of those people who think that's not enough for you, well if that's the case just add the game to your wishlist, even if could just download the demo right now and could experience the full game with no disadvantages what so ever because maybe you want to look into this game in the future.

Please understand that this game is being developed by a few developers (3) with no experience in games and we are not able to work on it fulltime.
