Why Early Access?

There are a number of reasons why we felt Early Access was the right path for us. Starting out, we were just a small team of avid gamers, working out of a tiny apartment and just barely scraping by. In order to create a game that truly encapsulated feudal life, while also offering an open, freeform and quality experience worth coming back for, we knew we’d have to invest all of our time and resources to accomplish this. Without Early Access, this would not have been possible.

Furthermore, the community feedback has been definitive in helping shape the Life is Feudal world. We wanted to continue to have this relationship with the players. Early Access gives us the ability to collect and integrate player opinions and feedback into the game to help deliver the best experience possible in Life is Feudal: MMO.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

Life is Feudal: MMO will launch approximately 12 months after the release into Early Access.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

The full version of Life is Feudal: MMO will be feature complete. We plan to implement ships and basic naval warfare, advanced AI and hostile NPC encounters. We are continuing to add, finish and polish the siege mechanics, along with all of the many others already included within the game. We are adding more siege equipment, siege engines and a number of other secondary features that the community will choose by voting for their favorites. Along with these new features, players can expect a more polished and smooth gameplay experience in the full version of the game.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Life is Feudal: MMO enables you, along with thousands of other players, to dive into a living, breathing - and ever-evolving - world. Begin your journey by stepping into an enormous 21x21km, fully realized world, complete with naturalistic weather, day-night cycles, and changing seasons. Explore a vast world; choose a suitable location for your humble home, walled city or strapping fort. Level and terraform to perfect the area before getting to work. Meet new friends and forge alliances with neighbors — imagine the possibilities with a team of people.
Some polishing is still ongoing and you can expect bugs here and there, but from a feature perspective, we believe we have an almost complete game. The features that we plan to implement for the full release can be considered as secondary in relation to the core gameplay that is already present in game.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

We do not plan significant price changes during the Early Access. You can expect the price increase after the EA.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

The feedback from our players is exceptionally important to us, which is why we want to involve them as much as possible. To do so, we have consistently provided weekly developer news updates and have regularly asked for player feedback on key issues and game mechanics throughout the development process. We will continue to include the community this way as we move into Early Access. Players can also have their voices heard by submitting, voting for, and discussing ideas on our official forum.

Big inventories for everyone! (

In this week’s patch, we’ve increased the inventory windows and enabled sorting for the items that are added to your backpacks and warehouses on the fly. Hope you’ll like it!

Patch Notes (ver.

New Features and Tweaks:
  • Improved, bigger windows for most of the containers
  • Added a message informing players that their monument has support points less than required to sustain it for the next 8 real-life hours
  • Added auto-sorting and controlled gap between objects for inventories (including trading posts)
  • “Recycle” button now can only be seen on Bloomery
  • Shield bashes are no longer available in areas where players cannot damage each other
  • Added “Repair Jewelry” ability to the Jeweler’s Toolkit
  • Animals are now guaranteed to have at least one offspring from the pregnancy
  • Added a proper message in the stables when newborn animals die due to the stable being full
  • Damaged buildings (<50% dur) no longer protect from looting objects inside them
  • Added new premium cloaks and robes
  • Increased brightness of arrows’ trails

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
  • Fixed a bug that caused accessibility for looting of movable objects inside complete buildings during JH
  • Fixed a rare case that resulted in inability to complete a building
  • Fixed “You are mine!” and “Coward!” warcries
  • Fixed regions’ names displaying incorrectly on crossing a server’s border
  • Fixed “Deconstruct” ability on Military Outpost during upgrade — it is no longer accessible
  • Fixed a message about reducing skills after death
  • Remote outpost maintenance fee is now properly displaying the cost when taxes are applied

(Dev News #156) Epleland Travel Tips and Statues

Hey, Feudalists!

Today we have released a patch with a couple of small, yet vital new features, mechanic tweaks, and some general fixes. One of the important changes added with this patch is that now repairing objects is not allowed during Holy Judgement on neighboring and burning fief. Please keep that in mind. We have also fixed the issue with Trade posts and some outposts not upgrading or downgrading to or from level 3, and some other things. You can check the full list in the patch notes.

This week yet another guild has successfully completed the 'Pillars of the community' challenge — Guild 'Ravens Cross Citadel'. Kudos, feudalists!

Earlier this week we have announced that the server of Epleland is closing on Monday, May 20th. After this date, the world will no longer be available in the game launcher.
This decision is based on the support costs of game servers and the world’s population.
For comfortable settlement and exploration of Godenland all active Epleland players will receive 20, 000 GF compensation. All your characters and their skills, stat points, alignment values, and Premium shop inventory will be transferred to Godenland. Characters equipped items and your character’s inventory will not be transferred, and neither will be items from Trade posts and other containers.

The T3 and T4 skills will be capped at 90. This means that low tier skills will not be capped, while higher tier skills will be.
Decoration Kits used on Epleland since 0.2.0 Update release will be refunded.

The transfer process may take over 8 hours, keep that in mind. Epleland will go down first for character exports, and as soon as the export is done, we will bring down Godenland to import the characters there. They will be delivered to one of the four Green zone areas on Godenland, where you can safely and comfortably start your new journey, and build your Private Claim there.
