Why Early Access?

“We want to allow the public to see what we are doing, not just for visibility of the game but to allow them to provide user feedback to assist in our production and future updates.
We are a small studio and as such we thrive on people playing and making suggestions to our product.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We should be in Early Access for about 6 months. This gives us time to listen to our players add more content, improve on the controls, Ai functionality and overall game play. We plan to release updates as we hit our milestone goals to better improve the overall experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As we are listening to our players we also have laid out milestone goals to adhere to. These milestones address improvements to how the user interacts with the game world, content such as new game modes and customization assets ( no pay to win, but rather vanity items - we don't like P2W) We are looking to focus on the PVP and Single Player experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently we have 3 game modes for the user to experience:

Battle Royale: 20 player battle royale allows a hunting experience where no one is your friend.

Capture The Calf (CTC) : This is a take on the tried and true capture the flag, where as instead of a flag it is a calf running around that each team strives to capture and bring back to their base.

1v1: Go head to head as you hunt for your opponent who has invaded your territory...

Special "Holiday Level". We added this just in time for the Holidays. Yes! A winter level that contains some festive cheer, or jeers depending on how you like holiday events :)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will not change the price during early access but when we are finalized the price will change to reflect the content and features.

We will be performing balancing and tuning for the customization assets however and prices may change as a result.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The developers at Firepoint are committed to listening to user feedback to improve the end product. We rely on player feedback to really see how they play, what they like and what they would like to see from us.
