為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Sweaty Palms is an experiment in more natural and exciting modes of movement in VR. The core gameplay of Sweaty Palms has been established and we are excited to give players access to what we believe is a truly unique VR experience. With that said, we are only releasing with a fraction of the planned cards, modes, and maps and the game is only a fledgling of what we imagine. We would like to begin building a community early so we can use feedback to improve the balance of abilities and get a better sense of what abilities and modes players would like to see in the future. We would like to tune the gameplay to be compelling for both casual and seriously competitive players.

Early access is also essential to giving us the resources to develop the game further. We recognize the game is still in a relatively unrefined state and we are dedicated to making it the game we want it to be, but we need the community's interest and support to make that happen!」

「Sweaty Palms will be in early access for about 12 months.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The full version will include additional modes such as Capture the Flag, Vroddball, Zombie Escape, VIP, and Battle Royale. We will also include some challenge levels for speedrunning and possibly other single player content, though multiplayer will be our main focus. We will also continue to create new cards indefinitely, including after full release. In addition to new official maps, we plan on releasing a map builder for the workshop so you can build custom levels and play them online. Visual assets will improve gradually, but our emphasis will be on gameplay.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「On Early Access release Sweaty Palms will have 18 ability cards, 1 arena map, Team and FFA Deathmatch and King of the Hill modes.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「The price will increase to $20 by the end Early Access.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「We plan to engage the community heavily and continuously integrate community feedback into the game, improving UI and ability balance and variety according to what the community wants. With the addition of tools like the map builder we also hope to put more control over the game into the players' hands over time.」
