Why Early Access?

“Containment Corps is a co-operative multiplayer experience that we want the player community to engage with as the game continues development. User feedback will play a major role in dictating the arc of our production process, as we look to provide a unique quality first-person/tower defense hybrid. We want players to be able to experience Containment Corps at this stage so we can work with them to create the best game possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Development of Containment Corps will take as long as the development team feels it needs to, in order to create the best game possible. We will approach 1.0 as game systems are finalized and polished. Containment Corps will be developed even after leaving early access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Much more content will be added. New enemies, maps, game modes, items/abilities, customization options, and more are planned. Art is being overhauled and the game will overall, look much more visually appealing.

We want to create more content to explain the backstory of the Containment Corporation, and also deliver a larger world filled with a greater variety of enemy types, energy sources, and unique challenges.

By full release we plan to have made significant balancing changes, along with optimizing game-play elements to represent the needs of the community. We aim to add additional platform support and also make it so that all game modes and maps are equally as enjoyable solo as they are with a group of eight.

We are dedicated to achieving these goals to the best of our team's ability, and will be including the community with frequent updates at every stage along the way.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We intend to engage with the community on a regular basis, and encourage frequent discussion and feedback. We will value user input quite highly and plan to use the feedback gathered to help inform our development process. We want to know what is and what is not working in the game, and expect that by working with the community we will be able to provide an experience that players feel like they have been a part of influencing.”
