Why Early Access?

“Building a large scale world for VR is hard, even with SpatialOS. Community Garden aims to start small, build a solid foundation and grow from there. Using early access will provide the feedback and testing need to push the game in the right direction. Pixelshot Games aims listen to the community and build a world for the community.”

“1 to 2 years”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Community Garden will have:

* Large detailed simulation of more than just plants. The goal is to create a living breathing world that player can come back to again and again.
* Economy system fueled by player actions.
* A much larger play space which includes player owned spaces.
* Ability to affect the world in more ways then growing plants.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently players are able to share a small persistent space with one another. This space is centered around a living garden within a concrete city. Players can plant new fruits and vegetables, tend to the existing garden and harvest crops. Go in alone, or bring a friend. You will be able to talk and interact with any number of players that come together in the world.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will stay free during early access. We may charge a monthly fee after Early Access, but I haven't decided yet.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Bug reports and forum feedback. The community can suggest new features and vote for possible expansions for the world.”
