Infliction out now!

Hi all!
I’m excited to announce that Infliction is out now!

Get yourself in a spooky mood by watching the new Infliction launch trailer before playing, now listed on the store page or online here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNKEXWzIGNg
Thank you so much for your support! I will of course be fixing bugs that come up, but my focus now will be heading to Melbourne to showcase Infliction next week at PAX Australia as part of the 2018 Indie Showcase.
If you’re there, please come say hi! For other players - hope to chat to you online soon. We will have news in future about other support languages, console plans etc - but for now, the best way to support in Infliction is to pick up a copy on Steam and leave a review. :)

I can’t wait for you all to play Infliction. Thank you again for being an important part of the community, and helping my dreams come true.

Cheers,
Clinton

The Infliction launch trailer is here

Hi all,
I hope you’re having an excellent, spooky October. I’m hard at working putting the finishing touches on Infliction, set to release this Thursday on the 18th of October! It has been a roller-coaster, and I can’t wait for you to dive into the game.

To celebrate our upcoming launch, we’ve debuted the launch trailer which you can check out on the store page, or here: https://youtu.be/DNKEXWzIGNg with gameplay footage that hasn’t been shown to the public before.

Following our launch, a few days later i’ll be heading to PAX Australia in Melbourne with the game as part of the 2018 Indie Showcase. Hope to see some of you there! I will of course be making minor updates and patches for any required fixes following the launch, so I look forward to your feedback as you dive into Infliction.

As always, thank you so much for being a part of this journey. I look forward to Infliction scaring you in just a few days time!

Cheers,
Clinton

About This Game

Infliction is an interactive nightmare, a horrific exploration of the darkness that can lurk within the most normal-looking suburban home.
Wander through the remnants of a once-happy family, reading letters and journals, listening to voicemails, and piecing together clues to understand the terrible events that led you here.
However, you are not alone. Something else has remained in this house, a being of infinite grief and rage. While you hunt for clues, it hunts you, waiting for its chance to unleash its anger on you.
Can you survive long enough to find atonement?

Features

You are not alone
A restless AI enemy will be stalking you, and you really don’t want to be caught. Will you run, hide, or find some way to fight back?

Warped reality
Explore a realistic, interactive suburban house that gets more fractured and twisted the deeper you go.

Piece it together
Read letters, find diaries, and examine the precious mementos of a broken family to understand the terrible events that led you here.

Almost too real
The story is grounded in real-world domestic tragedy, the fears and hurts that we all know: broken hearts, betrayed trust, grief, and loss.

Light and dark
The power of Unreal renders a photorealistic environment with dynamic lights and shadows that can dazzle you or plunge you into darkness.

Choose your challenge
Standard difficulty will occasionally point you in the right direction, but in hardcore mode you will be on completely on your own.
