What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Giving us the possibility to receive constant feedback from the community, Early Access helps us to develop exactly the game experience players enjoy.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Considering the features and scale we have planned for the game, it will stay in Early Access for about 1.5 years. We’ll adjust to feedback as much as we can, so it’s hard to give a definite answer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include additional late game mechanics and content. Also, we’ll include a variety of Steam features and are considering adding workshop support.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the basic gameplay and mechanics are in place and quite polished. We took a lot of effort to optimize the game’s performance right from the start. The playable area is limited to a small part of the final game world. In the first months of Early Access we want to make sure that the basic mechanics and gameplay are enjoyable before unlocking more content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will adjust to the growing content and features of the game. The price will be higher at later development stages. Buying the Early Access version gives you access to all updates including the full release of Bermuda - Lost Survival.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We highly encourage players to give feedback via the game forum at all times. We’ll also take surveys to involve the community in some of the decisions we make. We might even do A/B testings for certain game features.”

Progression Update

Hey there!

Development continues and we’re working on the next big update! For now, we won’t reveal all the changes and new content coming to the game, but we want to give you some first insights into the upcoming changes.

One major concern for the next update will be reducing the “grindiness” of certain game aspects to a minimum. We want you to spend less time on collecting and harvesting tons of resources, and more time on experimenting with recipes, exploring reefs and hunting for artifacts.

We went through a lot of posts, comments and gameplay footage to find out which parts of the game are interesting for players and identified some gameplay aspects that really seem to slow down the pace of the game. We came up with various possibilities to address those issues and are currently testing them.

Long story short…here are some of the changes that will be part of the next update:

Rebalancing material costs, recipes, spawn time

We rebalanced all material costs. In general, building structures like platforms, walls, ceilings etc. now consumes less resources. Building stations takes less planks and sticks, but slightly more advanced materials than before. Planks will no longer serve as fuel. Instead they can be converted to sticks, which for example can be used to fuel the barbecue bucket.

Stations can now be upgraded with items

Some stations, like the barbecue bucket, the distillery or the smeltery, can now be upgraded with items. This makes stations more versatile and you can adjust them to your needs. For example, adding a pan to the barbecue bucket unlocks a lot of new cooking recipes you can explore. Depending on their tier, stations now require one distinct fuel type to work.

Move already built objects with the hammer tool

In build mode, you can now move and reposition objects you already placed. This new feature lets you experiment more and saves a lot of resources. It does not apply to structures or heavy objects like the processing station.

That's it for now. More info and insights will be released soon.

About This Game

Survivors, Adventurers, Explorers!

Prepare for the journey of your life and experience one of the world’s most mysterious regions! The Bermuda Triangle is notorious for the vanishing of countless ships and airplanes. Will you survive long enough to reveal its secret?

Open World

Bermuda – Lost Survival plays in an open world sea scenario containing sectors with different reefs and individual resources. Since a sector never contains all resources, you must plan strategic outposts and optimize your crafting chains and travel routes.

Dynamic Ecosystem

Each reef in the game has an individual ecosystem that is affected by your actions. Observe the wildlife’s reaction and keep the natural balance as your life depends on the reefs natural supplies!

Progressive Gameplay

As you progress further, the game focus will shift: Crafting and building plays a very important role in the beginning. Your next step will be to explore deeper waters and find out about Bermuda’s myth. But your activities in the depths will not stay unnoticed!

Upgrade your equipment and prepare for the depths! Visit impressive wrecks and ancient structures. Search them for unique artifacts and hints that might lead you to the myth of the Bermuda Triangle.

Day 7

I survived, alone, nothing but water and horizon around me.

Day 13

The harsh weather conditions and cold nights get debilitating. Supplies are running low.

Day 15

I crafted some basic tools and hunted for fish. Let’s hope I didn’t attract any predators. Fresh water is still a problem.

Day 17

I found a huge reef. It’s full of life and old wrecks. I salvaged a lot of useful materials from the depths and might be able to build a platform, like an ark or something.

Day 29

Welcome to my new home! It’s not beautiful, but a suitable shelter. I also found a way to distill water, so I should be safe for the moment.

Day 30

I’m trying to refine my crafted equipment for further exploration.

Day 34

Another reef, but something is different. The water seems darker here. I found an artifact near a strange stone formation. It looked like a sunken pyramid or temple. I spotted some sharks, so I marked the position for later.

Day 41

I was right about the stone formation, it’s an ancient building. There is a small entrance but I only found empty chambers inside. I need more oxygen and a light source to dive deeper into this labyrinth.

Day 44

Strange things are happening! Something awoke! I saw lights moving in the depths...
