Why Early Access?

“We believe that ideas that have made a home in ones mind only provide a seed for a fully realized tangible experience. It is with the involvement of people who believe in the mixture of elements we are trying bring together will we actually bring to life something worth the space that otherwise is occupied by our wildest fantasies.

The sooner we can show you what we are thinking, the sooner we can let you show us what you are feeling and in turn, the feedback loop that is created there will help us make something you won't want to stop playing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Ideally it would be something we will constantly be adding to as long as the community grows alongside it. It will probably be considered done when we complete all the 6 stages and have enough of upgrades that create a feeling that the game is infinite in it's ability to provide novel experiences.

Depending on how the team grows along the lifecycle, it could take 2-4 yrs before 1.0 is hit.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access version will initially have only the bare essentials to creating an interesting game loop. This will most likely only include one world to explore, and around 30 different upgrades, 5-8 fundamentally different enemies.

Due to the fact that the premise for this game and the way we want to implement the gameplay loop is rapidly changing everyday, it's hard to say specifically what the final game would look like, but whatever it is, we hope that it would have 4-6 more worlds to explore, around a hundred upgrades, about 6-8 different enemies per world, NPC's to interact with, and potentially some sort of multiplayer hub to hang out with your friends & relax, enjoying a sandbox environment.

But once again, we don't know where it's gonna end up, the community will have a big say in the direction of the game!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“1 Procedurally generated world, Serpentine Skys
8 Unique enemies to fight.
30 upgrades to mix and match
Minimal Lore, with a basic hub world & a way to start a new dungeon run.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The prices will increase as the game increases in feature set. This rewards people who believed in the product early on, and is fair to people who are adopting later, given that the scope of features is greatly increased since what the early adopters got.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are planning on having a forum, reddit and social media accounts to allow users to discuss various aspects of the game alongside the development of it. We will be active and reply to all interested parties, while also explicitly asking users what they would like to see, and encouraging them to write reviews, make videos of them playing, roleplay and just generally get involved in the development process.”
