Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« ZIX was always meant to be a collaborative experience between us and our players. It contains a lot of experimental features and will launch in a state that will have a lot of those features presentable, but probably not as good as it could be once we start integrating user feedback. We want to grow ZIX out with our community, given the meta-narrative we are working with, that also gives them a chance to be part of the lore. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« It is unknown how long it could be in early access. If we don't have much of a community that is giving us feedback which requires a lot of work to be done, then 1.0 could come out 3-6 months after EA release. If there is a lot of feedback, could take a year or longer. If we have a lot of interest to expand the game, we could spend years on this. ZIX is a very huge concept so there can be a lot done with it. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« ZIX in EA will start with 3 Worlds, 10+ enemies per world, 8+ unique new weapon swaps, 30+ augments to modify ur kit, and about 30 world modifiers that users can mix and match in the Cauldron. We will also have 5+ NPCs to interact with and each world has many procedurally generated levels.

The full version will mainly be focused on polishing and improving all aspects of the meta-loop, the progression, and expanding out more augments and "ingredients" (world modifiers). We will also expand to have more dialogue, and more special missions accessible as secrets that will unlock meaningful content for the player.

We are launching with 1 Major campaign players can go through, and randomly generated campaigns after that. Following that we are planning on making 2 more campaigns, and 3 special secret ones as well.. maybe a few more.

ZIX technically has more worlds that were planned for it, but we were considering a DLC if ZIX does well enough! Some of the content from the DLC was partially crafted but still needs tons of work from all sides. »

« The prices will increase as the game increases in feature set. This rewards people who believed in the product early on, and is fair to people who are adopting later, given that the scope of features is increased since what the early adopters got. »

Reality is just another offering.

Before each run, you'll harvest surreal blessings from three strange worlds—then fuse them through ritual, creating your next trial. These divine ingredients don't merely tweak numbers—they warp the very fabric of reality. 

A few twisted possibilities:

  • Enemies leave tombstones that become deadly turrets.

  • Healing is doubled, but you can’t revive allies.

  • You’re stalked by a massive, unstoppable beast that kills anything it touches.  

  • Friendly fire enabled—only one can reach the exit.

Each ritual births new mechanics, fresh perils, and divine complications. With millions of possible combinations, no two runs play the same—deeper your devotion, the stranger Zix’s blessings become.

No face buttons. No menus. Nothing to distract you and break the trance. Just pure motion and momentum.

First Instinct is ZIX’s custom-built movement & combat system—a divine dance where you dash, leap, wall-run, block, and hurl weapons using just two triggers and intuitive gestures that echo your intentions. It’s fast, fluid, and expressive—like pulling off stunts from an action movie, but you’re the one doing it.

Combat rewards precise timing, rhythmic improvisation, and devotion to Zix’s chaotic will. Chain your movements and attacks together seamlessly. Become a perfect vessel, reading your enemies and adapting without thought.

You don’t just fight—you perform.

The chaos doesn’t just warp the world—it rewires you.

Each run, Zix grants you new blessings: augments and weapons that transform how your Acolyte moves, fights, and survives. These aren’t mere stat boosts—they’re divine mutations, reshaping the character to match your playstyle .

  • Throw your blade and teleport on impact, cleansing the battlefield in a fiery AOE blast.

  • Fire arrows that fracture mid-air, seeking out targets with unholy precision.

  • Convert your dashes into explosions of divine retribution.

And beneath the flesh of mechanics lies the skin of expression: every Acolyte can be shaped, adorned, and corrupted. Customize your look with arcane attachments, palette shifts, and ritual markings—transform yourself into a servant worthy of Zix’s gaze.

With millions of combinations, no two runs—or Acolytes—are ever alike. Will you become a precision duelist, a physics-breaking chaos goblin or something…else?

Play solo or with up to two fellow Acolytes in seamless co-op.
