Patch Notes - Version 1.0.1

Since launch on the 19th I've been quietly updating the game to fix major and minor issues. I plan to keep doing this for a while, so do tell me about any problems you're running into after updating.

I'm also planning at least one free content update which will include new characters, cheat codes, and probably more. It may be a while before that's ready, but I'll post here once I know when it will be.

Anyway, here's a list of changes in version 1.0.1:
- Fixes soft lock when backing out of Soccer alone during Free Play or Adventure
- Fixes scene unloading issue caused by object pooling in Tiny Tokyo, Aquarium, and sometimes related to repsawning
- Capture the Flag AI no longer stack up and jitter
- Release builds now export a log to help with debugging issues
- Fixes issue where cursor in settings would get stuck on Twitch integration if using a controller
- Fixes adventure coop bug where everyone except P1 could have their input locked if a dialogue ended before they made it to their listen pose
- Handles dialogue starting while some players are respawning
- Some hats will now match your team color
- Fixes issue where commentary unlocking didn't add the menu option and wasn't saved
- Twitch integration changes: spikes disabled in adventure mode since it can break flow, spawning limited to once per 5 seconds, added next arena command to request where next adventure match will take place, added next sport command to request which mode is next, add lowgravity command to disable gravity for everything but players, adds command to extend match time, autocorrects entry of 'twitch.tv/user' to 'user', spawned stuff is now in radius around camera focus instead of always on focus point

Play Online with Parsec!

The questions I get most about Sausage Sports Club are all about online play. I would have loved to add online to the game, but having just me to do all the programming, art, and design meant it would have tacked on years to development and also limited the game in a lot of ways.

All through development, I hoped some magic solution would come along to stream video and input between players online at a quality that would resemble a real implementation of networked multiplayer. Years went by and launch was approaching fast and I had kind of lost all hope.

Then Parsec came along!

I heard of Parsec from some other devs making a local multiplayer game and was hugely surprised once I actually tried it. If everyone in your group has decent internet and at least one person has a solid gaming computer, it's an impressive solution for playing local multiplayer games online.

I'm happy to give it an official Luckshot Games seal of approval.

How to play:
  • Download the client from http://parsecgaming.com
  • Run it and create an account. Get your friends to do the same.
  • To host, click "Add A Computer". Set what apps your friends can see/control in Settings.
  • To join a friend who's hosting, add them using their Parsec username, and request to Co-Play.
  • Run the game, and friends can play just like they're sitting next to you!
  • If you have any issues with Parsec, chat to them on their discord here.

Cheers,
Chris
