“Rubicon Approach is a competitive first-person shooter. Early access is a great tool to receive not only user feedback on balance and map direction, but also to fully test the multiplayer system prior to launching the game. Virtual Reality is a challenging medium where users able to give feedback may be hard to reach locally, especially for a multiplayer game. Early access allows us to get a broad range of feedback from the variety of VR setups that exist. We feel that the early access tagline is our own commitment to not calling the game finished until we’ve polished the game balance and removed as many bugs as is realistically possible for mere mortals.”

“Most of the core gameplay is complete. The duration of early access will extend as long as it takes to get user feedback on maps, balance, and test multiplayer functionally. The goal is 3-4 months.”

“The full version will have a continually expanded map list along with several playlists for solo and team based play. A party system to easily join matches with your friends.   • Online Multiplayer with built in voice chat and matchmaking.
